Searching – Actual Lost 90′s RUSS White Hoppity Rabbit Multi-Color Dots Wide Collar
I’m looking for the actual rabbit I lost.
It is a Russ Berrie 14 inch Over Stuffed Bunny Rabbit Plush Toy Animal “Hoppity”. She has soft snow white fur with pink lining inside the ears, a pink nose, and shiny acrylic eyes. She is overly stuffed, plump, and wearing a multi-colored polka dot outfit with a large white ruffled collar that is accented with light pink & yellow ribbon bow.
I am now 21 years old, but when I was little I was given a stuffed bunny around Easter which I named “Snuggle Bunny.” Snuggle Bunny was my favorite stuffed animal, and I took him everywhere, kept him on my bed, and slept with him every night. I lost snuggle bunny when I was around 8 or 9 years old, which would have been around the year 1999-2000.
The problem was that around that time I didn’t use him as much…so it took a week or two to realize he was missing. My family and I searched the car and the house but could not find him anywhere. We had gone to Hershey Park and stayed at a hotel nearby a week or two before and also traveled to visit relatives in Pittston (near the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, PA area). We called the hotel and our relatives, but they had not seen Snuggle Bunny either. To this day we don’t know if he fell out of the car somewhere (such as at a rest stop), or if he got lost in our own home.
All of these years I have wondered what happened to my stuffed bunny.
I am looking for the original one that I lost, not a replacement. My bunny would probably be in Pennsylvania somewhere, but who knows…IF it is still around, maybe someone out of state found him and adopted him. We THINK that my mom had written SOLANO on the bottom tag when I was little as well.
I know that it is a long shot by far, but if anyone sees a used bunny like this go up for sale at a garage sale, Craig’s list, eBay, etc, PLEASE let me know. It might be Snuggle Bunny.
