Searching – Walmart PASTEL GREEN Lying Down RABBIT Top Priority
We are looking for this greenish colored bunny. It is approximately 8-9 inches long. It was originally bought at Walmart at Easter time a few years ago (it was like a $3 bunny). The tag on its bottom said Manufactured for Walmart stores. The bunny also came in other colors (blue, white & pink- I think).
We are looking for this bunny, because it was our son’s favorite toy! He is Autistic & Mentally Challenged. So there is not a lot of things he loves or cares a great deal about. This bunny was his best friend, and he adored this bunny very much. He never went anywhere without this bunny, and bunny slept in his bed to keep him company every night. Bunny helped him get through many doctor’s appointments and lots of sick days.
This bunny got lost several months ago, and we have been searching thrift stores and posting ads on Craigslist looking for this bunny, or even one of the other colors of this style bunny. We had hoped to find it and maybe even another as a extra. My son only has a picture now and really does still miss Bunny!!!
We would love if you could help us find Bunny. Like I said, we would take one of the other colors also, but we would be so VERY grateful if the green Bunny was found.

HELP ALABAMA TORNADO FAMILIES FIND LOST TOYS!!!
We want to help with the search for toys lost during the monster tornado outbreaks of April 27, 2011!!

We are lifelong Alabamians, and our hearts ache for all those in our state who were not as fortunate as we were. Twice the weather radio warned that tornadoes were headed straight toward our little town, and both times they lifted as they approached us. We praise God for his Mercy toward us. Other nearby communities were not so fortunate and had deaths and widespread destruction.
Alabamians are helping each other during this time of great need, as whole cities and towns have been demolished. Collection points are all over the place for people to bring bottled water, food, charcoal and grills, toiletries, diapers, formula, and other basic necessities. There are too many organizations collecting relief donations to name them all, but since we’re Baptist, here’s the link to donate through the State Mission Board. The Salvation Army and many other charitable organizations are also busy helping with relief efforts across the South.
The time to help with clothing, furniture, and toys has not come yet, but it will soon, when life saving needs are met. When that time comes, these surviving families are going to want to replace the special lovies that will help their little ones feel secure again.
We have over 150 Fabulous Finders who help with the search for lovies, so PLEASE PASS THE WORD ALONG TO ANYONE WHO HAS FAMILY OR FRIENDS IN AN AREA STRUCK BY WEDNESDAY’S TORNADOES – WE WILL MAKE YOUR SEARCH A TOP PRIORITY!!!

One of our Fabulous Finders, who is an online Toy Seller, suggests that most sellers will offer help to Alabama Tornado victims. All the family needs to do for a discount is ask. She says she will take most offers on items to those affected by a disaster. The willing will help. Families just need to know the price may appear high on eBay or some other online auction site or store, but their request for a reduced price may still be accepted.

Searching – Ways to Preserve a BRIGGS? WHITE SNOWMAN Wearing a GREEN FLOPPY HAT & FRINGED SCARF
Hello, my story with my stuffed snowman is that he was given to me when I was 2. I’ve loved him ever since. I used to carry him with me almost everywhere (under my shirt) until I was 6 when he got ripped and his insides started falling out, which my babysitter fixed. This happened again a year later.
I use him to fall asleep. It’s hard for me to fall asleep without my snowman, and when I don’t have him my arms try to find something in his shape to hold. I’m older now, but he is so important to me. I’ve had a lot of family issues and am very sensitive and sentimental. When I’ve been sad, my snowman has been one of the only things that I’ve been able to talk to about what happens to me. During times when I had trouble with my friends and felt left out, I was able to rely on my snowman as my friend.
Change is very hard for me, and I’m afraid my snowman will fall apart, and I won’t have him anymore. I don’t know what I would do if that happened.
I don’t know what to do to make sure that he doesn’t fall apart. I don’t want to lose him, since he is too special to me. He is “my brother,” my family. Please help me find a solution, so that the fabric on his body doesn’t get so thin that he just falls apart. I don’t know what that is, because I don’t want a new snowman. I just want to somehow reinforce his “skin.”
Here is the information on the back of his tag: Style#54411 PA4726(KR) OH 12627 N.J. His dimensions are: 15 inches tall by 6 1/2 inches in width not measuring arms, and with arms out straight it is 13 1/2 inches wide.

Based on the photos, I’m pretty sure Mr. Snowman is an Eden Raymond Briggs Snowman, Wearing a Green Floppy Felt? Hat and Fringed Scarf.
I had an idea that if we could find one with the right dimensions, the new one could be opened up, the stuffing removed, and the real one safely tucked inside. M did not want to do this. Another suggestion given in a comment was to open it up and fuse interfacing to it BUT our most reliable stuffed animal crafter has said this would RUIN the snowman. Maybe you will have another idea.

I’m desperately searching for an Eden lamb. It’s a chenille floppy white lamb, with pink satin in the ears. The body is a pink flower print sleeper with eyelet ruffle collar.We lost this lambie in a horrible car accident in May. My four daughters and I are incredibly lucky to be alive. We were life flighted and our belongings strewn across I-95. Everything we owned was flown across the interstate, as all glass was blown out as we flipped several times. Wonderful people gathered what they could, but it was early AM on Mother’s Day.
The only item we cared about that was lost was “lambie”. My daughter has slept with her for 21 years……we were coming home from college in D.C. We live in Florida. I have just began to walk, but I have spent hundreds of hours in bed searching the internet for her. Please let me know what you are able to do.

I’m desperately searching for an Eden lamb. It’s a chenille floppy white lamb, with pink satin in the ears. The body is a pink flower print sleeper with eyelet ruffle collar.Our youngest daughter, Mia – 6 years old, is adopted from China. My wife and I traveled to China to pick her up almost 5 years ago, and the Eden lamb was the one stuffed animal we took for her, given to us by her now grandmother. Not going into detail, but the moment when they bring your children to you for the first time is quite exciting for the adoptive parents, but terribly traumatic for the child. They must feel like they are being abducted from all that they know – a new unknown race with a completely unknown language, taken from all they have come to know as normal, as home.
It was no different for us and Mia. She was inconsolable as she pushed, kicked, and screamed – and cried often over the next couple of weeks. My wife immediately gave her the lamb. Mia clung to the lamb and has never let go of it since. She never let go of it in China and has slept with it literally every night. She has rubbed the ears to shredded nubs and the lamb has been squeezed (and washed) to where it is more lumpy than fluffy now. The lamb has been through a lot to say the least, and we are trying to find another one that she can keep for a lifetime.

Searching – 1999? WHITE BEAR Wearing WHITE SLEEPER with BLUE POLKA DOTS & RUFFLED COLLAR Top Priority
Jennifer is looking for a rabbit that may well be the same brand.
I’m looking for a white plush bear with pink nose and blue eyes. He’s wearing an attached white with blue polka dots outfit with ruffled collar. This bear was given to my son in the late 90′s (98-99) or early 2000. “Beary” is about 9-10 inches long, brand unknown since my son cut the tag (sensory issue due to autism).
This is his comfort item, and he is extremely upset that our pet decided to munch her nose. He really needs this bear, since he shares all his problems with Beary. She is included in all his imaginative play. Since he is a child with autism, he does not make friends easily, and this bear eases many of his emotional problems.
Any help finding this bear will ease the upset that the entire family is suffering since the damage to the original bear.

Searching – Manhattan Small BABS TIPTOES LIGHT BROWN BEANIE RABBIT with BLACK BALLET SLIPPERS Top Priority
I am searching for a 2002 Manhattan Toys Babs Tiptoes Bunny. The one I am looking for is a small (6 inches), light brown bean bag floppy bunny, with long ears with pink on the inner ears. The feet are black ballet slippers with pink bows.
My daughter’s special bunny was destroyed recently under very traumatic circumstances. While I was recovering from surgery and still bed ridden our dogs got her special bunny and ripped her to shreds.
She hasn’t been able to get past the loss of her most beloved friend. I can only begin to express how devastated she is. She still cries and tells me she will never be the same little girl she was before bunny got destroyed, because when she lost bunny she lost me. You see bunny was me to her. She has had a very difficult time being able to feel safe in her life, and bunny was the only thing that could comfort her. She is an only child with only one parent (me) and unfortunately my health has been very unstable. In the past, when I have been sick, bunny has always been there to comfort her and make her feel like I was going to be okay.
I cannot seem to console her with any other type of stuffed animal or other bunny. I recently found a similar Manhattan Toys Babs Tiptoes Bunny on eBay, but it has blue ears instead of pink, and she only wants the bunny with the pink ears.
Please help me locate this bunny. I want my little girl to feel whole again. I have not been able to find another bunny to give my daughter back her feeling of security.

McDonald’s SHREK Forever After GLASSES RECALL
If you haven’t already heard about it, the Shrek Forever After Glasses being sold at McDonald’s have been recalled, due to the discovery of the toxic metal Cadmium in the paint used for the pictures of Shrek, Donkey, Puss ‘n Boots, and Fiona. The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) site is overwhelmed right now, as people try to get information, but the McDonald’s site is up and running. According to their site, the directions for getting a refund for the glasses will be on their site on Tuesday, June 8.

I am desperately seeking a replacement lovey for my autistic son. He was given a blue Carter’s Once Upon a Time Dragon as an infant, and his “Puff” (as he calls him) is his best friend and sanctuary when he is troubled.
The toy has light up nostrils and plays Twinkle Twinkle Little Star when a star on his chest is pressed.
If anyone could help me track down this toy, it would mean the world to my 3 1/2 yr old son.

This email is long overdue — The Summer has kept me and my 17 month old twins very busy. I wanted to give you an update on Charlotte’s blanky.
I contacted Corrie after I received your email on 6/26/09 regarding the aqua minky dot blanky she had, that her daughter was not using. With everything going on in her life, she was kind enough to get to the post office and send out the blanky within two days. I received the blanky, and it was immaculate!
This wonderful mother was kind enough to send the blanky for Charlotte (at no cost) as long as I said a prayer for her daughter, Hope.
I have made a donation to CaringBridge in Hope’s name and continue to keep her in my prayers. I want to thank you and your wonderful website for putting me in contact with this kindhearted mother and her daughter, Hope.Please post this great story of “HOPE” (a pun very intended)for those praying for Lost Lovies AND this beautiful little girl — WHO NEEDS ALL OF OUR PRAYERS!!!!

Searching – LIGHT BROWN CORDUROY MOUSE with PATCHES & BROWN BOW TIE Top Priority
I’m looking for a light brown corduroy mouse, with white patches on his chest and a dark brown bow tie. I’d say he’s around 12 inches long. His eyes and nose are all stitched (no plastic parts), and he’s very well loved. He came to us without any tags, so I have no idea who makes him, but I believe he was made by either Kelly Toy or Cuddle Pals, based on toys I’ve seen.
Our daughter came to us in 2006 through the foster care system at four months old, with nothing but “Brownie”…her prized possession! Now almost four years later he has become well loved, and we are in dire need of a backup.

Searching – 2004 Walmart GOLDEN TAN DOG with DARK BROWN EARS NO SPOTS Top Priority
My heart grieved over this family’s loss, and I’m so glad you were able to find some dogs for her children that were similar to this one.
My 6-year-old son, who owned the dog, is mildly autistic and lonely for this dog, which he called “Nester.” I thought I had this dog in storage, but realized that it had accidentally been tossed (long story).
I’m pretty certain it was purchased at WalMart, and it was Christmas of 2004. Ours doesn’t have a darkened eye patch, but both ears are dark brown. This dog is about 18 inches from nose to tail. No spots, but floppy ears and nose are chocolate brown, while the rest of the fur was a golden tan.
If you have any leads for me that would be terrific.

Searching – Carter’s Just One Year BLUE BABY BLANKET with HELICOPTERS & AIRPLANES Top Priority
I’m looking for a Carter’s Just One Year baby blanket that is a very soft light blue color with airplanes and helicopters on the front, the edge is a darker blue soft fabric, and the back is a plain light green.
It is my son’s favorite blanket in the world. I bought if for him as a big splurge in the summer of 2007, when I was very pregnant with him. We didn’t need it, and we didn’t have a budget for anything we didn’t “need”, but I wanted to get him a gift. It’s been his “airplane blanky”, and he loves it.
Since he started preschool it’s stayed at school as his nap blanket. Recently, the church that the school rents space from was used as a temporary homeless shelter, the preschool room was broken into, and some things were taken – including his “airplane blankie”. I’m not mad. I’m hoping that there is another little boy out there loving this blanket the way my son did. But in the mean time, my son is really missing his blanket.
