Searching – 80′s Knickerbocker SO SOFT BABY YELLOW BEAR with LOOP EARS

Mirko is looking for the Yellow bear. Jason is looking for the blue version.

I’m looking for an 80′s Knickerbocker So Soft Baby yellow bear named Baby Gum Drop. He is about 9.5 inches long, made of yellow velour (with foam on the inside). The ears have a hole in them….they are kind of like handles for a baby…and they kind of look like loops on his head.

I’m searching for this bear for the wedding of my brother. As a child he loved this bear all the time, and I am searching for this bear like one year. I hope you can help me.

Searching – 80′s LYING DOWN Firmly Stuffed TAN & BLACK GERMAN SHEPHERD with TONGUE Top Priority

I’m looking for an 80′s? lying down firmly stuffed German Shepard that is mostly tan with black on his back. His tongue hung out, and he had plastic nose and eyes.

When I was little my mom got me this (to me then) huge stuffed German Shepard dog from Walmart. I kept him for years. My upbringing sucked, and his back held A LOT of my tears. My mom in moving from Texas to Connecticut lost him.

I cannot find another like him, and I wish I had my original Wolf, but I’ve looked and can’t find him. I just wanna find another. I’m dealing with a load of serious health issues now, and even though I’m almost 30, sometimes I still just need to cry into him ya know?

Anyone who can help…. Well I have no way of paying you back fully, but any help is appreciated.

Searching – 80′s SMALL WHITE Musical WINDUP DOG with BROWN EARS

I’m looking for a windup dog about 10 inches long that I have had since 1987. It has a white body with brown ears. I have always thought it was a dog, it but might be a rabbit. Everything had a soft fur like covering, but most of it is gone. The “fur” was attached to a different type of fabric. The fur was not long – just enough to cover. I am not sure of the music it played. I do know it didn’t move. It has always laid down like in the picture. It used to have little black eyes that looked like rocks. We bought it new from a store my mom said.

I have owned it since I was born. I have always looked for another but never could find anything, since I don’t know who made it. I used to have two when I was born, but one is long gone. I would love to have another one just to give to my kids – 3 if I could find that many. It’s just really important to me. I’m 24 and not ashamed to admit about my childhood toy that I still have.

I would like to find out more information about it. If you guys can help, that would be great! Any info at all.

Searching – 1985 Applause Precious Moments WHITE & PINK RABBIT

We now have a mailing list of people looking for this rabbit. Wanda is still looking, but the cost has been prohibitive.

Wanda’s story gives such a powerful voice to the emotional trauma of childhood bullying that I hope you share it.

I’m looking for a Snowball 1985 Precious Moments by Applause plush white rabbit. It has the pink satin feet, and pink inside the ears, and a pink satin covered nose and has tear drop shaped eyes. She wore a plastic pink heart locket around her neck that said on the inside “Some Bunny Cares”.

This bunny was very special to me, because as a child, I was bullied in school because of being extremely shy, and the other kids thought I was weird. I had no friends except for my cats, and my plush animals. Whenever I was in school, being tormented, I couldn’t wait to get home to play with my “friends”.

When I first saw the bunny in a Hallmark store back then, it was love at first site. The locket’s message “Some Bunny Cares” meant so much to me. I wanted so much at that time for someone to care. I think it was over $20.00 back then, and my mom almost didn’t get her for me. But she finally bought her for me for Easter. My mom knew what I was going through, and that there was nothing she could do about it, so I think that’s why she gave in.

We had pajama day at school that year, and I took my bunny that day. I remember being laughed at for bringing a toy, even though some of the other girls had pacifiers hanging around their necks of all things. The bunny was taken from me and thrown back and forth. I started crying, not just because of my beloved bunny, but mostly because I was being tormented once again. That just made them laugh even more, because I was acting like a “baby” who had their toy taken away. I did get her back, and cried myself to sleep that night.

I would just like to have my old friend back. It would be nice to have her near. The scars from my past are still with me, so I would like to have some of the nicer things with me as well.

Sorry for such a long post. If anyone knows where I can find one of these bunnies, I would appreciate it.

Searching – 80′s Mothercare BROWN & WHITE BEAR with ORANGE BOW

I’m looking for a bear that is about 30 years old. It was a brown and white medium – sized teddy bear with an orange bow around his neck. We got it at a Mothercare for my son in the 1980’s, and he had it with him wherever he went up until the year 2000.

He called it Ted and carried it everywhere he went , along with his other toy dog, Scamp, which he still has. It was put up in our loft with other teddies, but when we moved away we forgot to take Ted. Even though he is older, he still misses his teddy bear. I would love to get it back for him as he misses it so much! It would mean the World to him and me if someone would find it.

Searching – 80′s BROWN DOG with FURRY YELLOW EARS

I’m looking for an 80′s stuffed dog with brown body, yellow ears and top of head, white muzzle, black nose, and beaded eyes.

I stole it from my sister when I was 2 and took it everywhere with me. I had it until my house burned down at age 5. Broke my heart. This is the best picture we have left of it.

I would always rub his ears on my face to make me sleepy. So much that they fell off all the time and my Mom would have to sew them back on. Sometimes when she couldn’t get around to it yet, I would rub the ear on my face until I got sleepy and then gently put it on his tummy with my hand over it all night so I wouldn’t lose it in the bed.

I would love to replace it now at the age of 28.

FOUND – 80′s Tyco MY PUPPY LOVES ME – GRAY & WHITE DOG – SQUEEZE PAW – WHIMPERS

We now know he’s a TYCO MY PUPPY LOVES ME.

I’m looking for a dog stuffed animal..built via the teddy bear style..(as opposed to the lying down dog looking style) from around the late 80s-early 90s. It was greyish, about a foot long, had a nylon-ish belly and when you squeezed its paw (I think it had leather paw pads, too) it would whimper.

I loved this guy so much as a little kid..and then as I grew up he must have gotten sold by my mother or something..most of the things I had were kept, but not him. I really would like to find him again for nostalgic value, and maybe if I ever have children I can pass it down to them.

Searching – 80′s? 90′s? MULTI-COLOR DINOSAUR CHILD’S PURSE? BACKPACK?

I’m looking for a Multi-colored dinosaur / dragon. She is purple with a white nose, blue eyes, red arms, green and orange belly, red inner thighs, blue feet, and a yellow bottom. She has a zipper on her back, and it also has a thin strap on its back, and a pink polka dotted bow on her head. I think it was a kid’s / child’s purse or back pack. She was just a stuffed animal lovie to me. The tush tag says Hugable not Huggable. My mother says it was purchased at Target in the late 80′s early 90′s.

When I was little I got sick, and my parents took me the the doctor. After we left the doctors my parents had to pick some things up, so we went to the store (my mother says it was Target). When we got in the store, I saw Dino as I call her, I also call her Dina. I started reaching for Dino, and my mom said, “No,” that I couldn’t have her. My Daddy picked Dino up and told my mom that I could hold her while we were in the store.

At some point I fell asleep in the store, and when I woke up we were at home, and I had Dino from that point on. I never went anywhere without Dino.

I would appreciate it a lot if you could help me find another Dino. Any help or information that could lead me to finding another Dino would be greatly appreciated.

I think that it is a very special thing you are doing to help find long lost lovies. Again thank you for any help you can provide me with.

Searching – 80′s? Knickerbocker GRAY SPIDER Canvas GLOVE PUPPET

Darlene is still looking for this spider. Thanks to one of our Fabulous Finders we now have a photo and the correct brand name.

I am looking for a retro toy. It had a stuffed canvas glove sewn on top, and it looked like a hairy spider you put your hand into. The name of the spider is “Harry”. That’s on one side of the tag. The other side says, “Knickerbocker”. It’s Knickerbocker Toy Company, INC 1980.

I bought one for my son in the 80′s. It was brownish grey, had a beige canvas glove on top, you put your hand in the bottom, but it looked like your hand was in the glove. He always talks about it, and he can’t find one either.

I would like to give him one for his birthday. He is an adult now, works with handicapped children, and is a wonderful Christian, giving person, and I want to do something special for him.

Searching – Vintage KOREA United Feature Syndicate SNOOPY Without PATCH on TUSH Top Priority

We’re looking for a late 70′s or early 80′s, and possibly even older, firmly stuffed Snoopy. The tag says ©1968 UNITED FEATURE SYNDICATE, INC. PRODUCT OF KOREA REG. NOS. PA219-CA16113 ALL NEW MATERIALS CONTENT:KAPOK SHREDDED CLIPPINGS. It does NOT have the Snoopy patch on the tush. He is between 12 and 13 inches, although he is probably deflated and elongated from wear and his fur is certainly nappy from love.

We’re trying to find a backup for a friend of ours for her little boy. He has a brain tumor and is a precious child. The Snoopy was his Mama’s, but he has taken it over. She says that it is his Snoopy, and not Mama and Daddy, who comforts him when he feels bad or gets a booboo.

With all the doctor and hospital trips this little fellow has to make, it would give his Mama and Daddy a little piece of mind to know they had a backup already in hand.

We found item 250874418408 on eBay that she says is very close, and she’s considering getting it, even though it is not the correct one.

Searching – 80′s DAKIN Large LIGHT BROWN RABBIT with WHITE EARS & HEART

Megan is still looking for this rabbit.

I lost Stuie, my 1982 Dakin bunny rabbit, on November 5, on the way from Sao Paulo to Recife, Brazil. The last time I saw him was on the security belt at the Sao Paulo GRU airport.

Stuie is a pale brown 17 inch rabbit, with white ears and heart, and an orange bow around his neck. He is well-worn from years and years of love.

He has been my friend and traveling companion for 27 years. He has been all over the world with me and is very, very loved and missed. He has comforted friends and nieces and nephews and is quite famous in our family. His loss is devastating!

If anyone has found him or has ideas on how to search for him, it would be greatly appreciated. The lost and found offices at either airport do not have him. The language barrier (Portugese!) has made it difficult to search.

Hello. I am trying to replace a lost bunny that was a nursery favorite for my younger children and appeared in several photos with them in the early 1990′s.

She was white plush, approximately 8-10 inches long , 6-8 inches tall, and sat on a plastic wood-colored support with four wheels and had a white cord with which to pull her. Our bunny had a pink bow when she was new. It MAY have been made by Eden Applause, but it definitely was purchased at a gift shop in Jackson, TN., in late 1980′s-early 1900′s.

I’m looking for a 1987 Potpourri Press pink Puffalump style rabbit, loosely stuffed all over, with embroidered eyes, wearing a dark pink dress and hair bow. The bunny is 13 inches from the top of the bow to the bottom of her feet – an even 12 inches, not counting the bow.

I am so glad that I found this website. I have been looking for this bunny for my daughter. She will be 25 years old this December. She was given this bunny when she was one year old, and she carried it with her wherever she went. It was a huge comfort to her. Then one day she left it somewhere, and we could never find it again.

I would love to find one to give her this year, but when I tell her that the ones that were left in stock some years ago went to an orphanage, she will be delighted. I remain in search for one.

I am looking desperately for the Penelope Pig pink plush pig from the Fisher Price Animal Grabber collection during 1980 to about 1984. This toy was just the head of the pig with a handle or pocket behind the snout for the child to grab or hold onto.

It was my most favorite toy and has comforted me all of my 30+ years, and I took it with me everywhere! I would hide it in my book bag, take my Piggy on car trips, and even when I was really small, I flung it into the flamingo pen at the Chicago zoo! Luckily my Aunt went in and hopped the fence to get her. Now my daughter loves it, too, and always wants to snuggle with Piggy, but I worry she is falling apart. We are hoping to find one to last another 30 years in our household.

Toys are so very special and can often comfort more than words. My Piggy has wiped away many tears and shared in just as many adventures. I would love for my daughter to have the same. Please, please if you have any information, I would be forever grateful!

We have a Mailing List of people looking for the various Jumbo Love animals. We have the pink elephant for sale in our store right now.

I’m searching for a Jumbo Love Purple hippo manufactured by Commonwealth Toys. I would describe him as looking like the Puffalumps, only bigger – I’m guessing at 24″. He is made of the same material, but with thicker filling. He has very long arms and legs with horizontal stitching (creating sectioned limbs) every inch or so and ending in a bulbous section which would be a hand or foot. The eyes are patches sewn on and there is another patch saying “Jumbo Love”.

I gave this to my Granddaughter years ago, and she slept with it always. I had to repair it so many times it no longer had a neck and has lost a lot of its plump. She is now married and has a special little boy and would love to have one for him. Hers has disappeared, and we have not been able to find it.
