Searching – 90′s GUND MUMFIE ELEPHANT Wearing PINK COAT & BLUE PANTS
Nola is looking for the scarecrow and pig from the Mumfie stories.
I’m looking for the stuffed Mumfie plush, that was released sometime in early 90’s. I believe he is a white or gray elephant with a pink coat. In the movie he was white. He has blue buttons on his coat and blue pants. On his feet are pink shoes that match the pink coat. I believe he is 19” and made by Gund.
I’ve been looking for him since I was 10 years old; I am nearly 26. My mom and I had gone into a local toy store in NJ, and I had seen him. I clearly had remembered him from the movie The Magic Adventures of Mumfie. My mom couldn’t afford him for me so she promised to try and get it for me the following week. Needless to say, when we came back he was sold. I was devastated. She looked for it for me for years. Then I took over the search, I check eBay every six months but haven’t found him. Then I came across your website and found that someone had actually located this special elephant. Even more digging showed me that one had been sold, but I missed it by three weeks.
I hope that perhaps with your help I’ll be able to locate another Mumfie. If anyone has any information, I’d be so grateful.

Searching – 90′s Montgomery Ward PINK BEAR with BOW
Christi says that out of all other bears that she has seen with bows on their necks, this bear comes the closest to being like her bear.
I do believe it had a white muzzle. It has been soooo long, I can’t even think of any differences. I can tell also, just by looking at that photo, that it is the same kind of material. A lot of bears nowadays are super duper soft. My bear was soft, but not like that silky fur material that most bears have now.
I’m looking for a pink teddy bear from Montgomery Wards in about 1991-1992. The bears being sold were available in pink or blue. They were a decent size, about 15 inches tall from head to toe and like 11 inches wide from arm to arm. My pink bear had a bow around its neck.
When I was between 4 or 5 years old, my dad was taking my two brothers to the store to get them some shoes for basketball. I went along, meanwhile mom stayed back at the house. As we walked through some aisles, I was drawn to a big bin full of blue teddy bears and pink teddy bears. I picked up a soft, pink teddy bear and carried it around the store with me. When it was time to check out, I had already fallen in love with this bear in my arms. I asked my dad if I could have it. Being that our family didn’t make much money, funds were limited. I really really wanted the bear, not to mention, being as young as I was, I didn’t quite understand why my brothers were getting things and I wasn’t.
Well, apparently, back at the house, my mom started thinking about me, and how I might feel left out. She said a quick prayer that God would provide a way for me to be able to get something. Right at the checkout, after my dad gave me the final, “no, you can not have this bear,” I walked back to the bin and put the bear back. Out of nowhere, this nice old lady who was sitting right on a bench near the checkout with another old lady, strolled up to my dad, with the pink bear in her hand and said, “Would you mind if we bought her this bear?”. Dad refused, but she insisted, so dad agreed and I got my bear.
When we got home, mom was happy and told us what she prayed. That bear was, from that moment on, my “Jesus Bear”. I always slept with it. I always took it on trips with me…which is where this story ends tragically. I went to Canaan Valley when I was in 7th grade and took my bear with me…when we got home, it was missing. My parents called them, but, they didn’t find it. So, here I am…24 years old, newly married, on Christmas eve, thinking about my “Jesus Bear” wishing I could somehow find it, or maybe get one exactly like it.
If you could somehow find out what teddy bears were in stock at those dates and locate where I can get a pink bear, I would be forever grateful.

FOUND – 80′s Tyco MY PUPPY LOVES ME – GRAY & WHITE DOG – SQUEEZE PAW – WHIMPERS
We now know he’s a TYCO MY PUPPY LOVES ME.
I’m looking for a dog stuffed animal..built via the teddy bear style..(as opposed to the lying down dog looking style) from around the late 80s-early 90s. It was greyish, about a foot long, had a nylon-ish belly and when you squeezed its paw (I think it had leather paw pads, too) it would whimper.
I loved this guy so much as a little kid..and then as I grew up he must have gotten sold by my mother or something..most of the things I had were kept, but not him.
I really would like to find him again for nostalgic value, and maybe if I ever have children I can pass it down to them.

I’m looking for a Multi-colored dinosaur / dragon. She is purple with a white nose, blue eyes, red arms, green and orange belly, red inner thighs, blue feet, and a yellow bottom. She has a zipper on her back, and it also has a thin strap on its back, and a pink polka dotted bow on her head. I think it was a kid’s / child’s purse or back pack. She was just a stuffed animal lovie to me. The tush tag says Hugable not Huggable. My mother says it was purchased at Target in the late 80′s early 90′s.
When I was little I got sick, and my parents took me the the doctor. After we left the doctors my parents had to pick some things up, so we went to the store (my mother says it was Target). When we got in the store, I saw Dino as I call her, I also call her Dina. I started reaching for Dino, and my mom said, “No,” that I couldn’t have her. My Daddy picked Dino up and told my mom that I could hold her while we were in the store.
At some point I fell asleep in the store, and when I woke up we were at home, and I had Dino from that point on. I never went anywhere without Dino.
I would appreciate it a lot if you could help me find another Dino. Any help or information that could lead me to finding another Dino would be greatly appreciated.
I think that it is a very special thing you are doing to help find long lost lovies. Again thank you for any help you can provide me with.

Hello. I am trying to replace a lost bunny that was a nursery favorite for my younger children and appeared in several photos with them in the early 1990′s.
She was white plush, approximately 8-10 inches long , 6-8 inches tall, and sat on a plastic wood-colored support with four wheels and had a white cord with which to pull her. Our bunny had a pink bow when she was new. It MAY have been made by
EdenApplause, but it definitely was purchased at a gift shop in Jackson, TN., in late 1980′s-early 1900′s.Thank you!

FOUND – 90′s Eden PINK & WHITE BLOND DOLL
I am looking for a 90′s pink Eden doll with a pink sleeper and white bonnet. The doll is not too big, probably about the length of a shoe. The hair is yellow and I believe made of a yarn or yarn looking material.
I got it when I was a baby. It was my favorite toy, and I slept with it every night. Unfortunately, it was taken by a dog, and I never found it. I would love to have this piece of my childhood back.

Searching – 90′s? NEON GREEN Floppy Lying Down BEAR with PINK & YELLOW MUZZLE, EARS & FEET
Yvette is still looking for this bear.
I’m looking for a neon green, pink, and yellow floppy furry bear. His front legs were longer than his back legs, and he lay on his tummy. He had solid black eyes, and his tail was a little long, even though he was a bear lol. I do not know his maker or the year that he was made… I am guessing he was made in the early to mid 90′s, but it could be earlier than that though. He is definitely NOT a Puffalump.
When I was about 7 years old I met a girl down the street from me whom I played with everyday. She had this bear, and for some reason I grew very attached to it. She let me borrow him, and it ended up causing a huge fuss, because I guess I wouldn’t return him to her haha… We ended up trading toys in the end.
Cubby went everywhere with me! Every road trip (about a dozen trips to the middle of nowhere Nevada to visit grandpa!), every plane ride, and he lived in 4 different houses with my family. Unfortunately, he didn’t make it to the 5th house we lived in, someone STOLE a bunch of stuff out of one of the moving trucks, and Cubby went with them
I was 14 years old when Cubby disappeared. Since then, I have desperately searched for a copy of Cubby, but with no luck. I only have a few photos of him, and none of them are very good ones. This photo is the best one I have.
Having him back would mean so much to me… I guess it’s silly that I hold onto my childhood for so long.. But it’s who I am! I have a daughter of my own now, and I would love for her to see my favorite childhood toy. Cubby would be in my bed with me every night again if I could find him haha.

Searching – 1992 TYCO SNOW LEOPARD KITTY KITTY KITTEN
We have a mailing list of people looking for the various Kitty Kitty Kittens.
I am looking for a Kitty Kitty Kitten by the company called Tyco. It’s one of the kittens from the 1992 Kitty Kitty Jungle Kittens series. It’s the snow leopard one (all white except for black circle-spot patterns/lines all over its body). Around it’s neck it has a little pink and black collar/scarf I believe. I think the eyes were blue/pale blue with a black pupil. Sometimes it’s referred to as a white tiger, but it’s a snow leopard.
I had this little kitty since I was 5. It was my favorite stuffed animal of all time. I used to bring it with me everywhere (to school, outside, next to me while I slept). I’d love to find another one.

Searching – 90′s CARAMEL BROWN & WHITE BEAR
I’m looking for a medium size caramel light brown seated bear from the 90′s. Most of the stuffing/beanies are at his butt. His paws are white circles/ovals on the bottom of his paws. He has a small tail in the back. His head is mostly a circle, except for the muzzle, where his mouth nose and eyes are. His ears are the same caramel light brown color in the back and white in the front. His eyes are darker than the fur color and are like a chocolate brown, but he has black pupils. His muzzle is white and has a black nose and black thread that resembles a smile.
When I was about three, I always brought him everywhere I went, and one day I left it in a race car ride at an amusement park when I was about five or six. Luckily, one of my friends had one, and his mom gave it to me since he never played with it. Now I am fifteen, and I want to know the name, or where I could find my Teddy bear if I wanted to get a new one, or if this one got lost. It has been on my mind for quite some time now.

Searching – 90′s WHITE Lying Down LAMB with BLACK HOOVES – BAA’s??
I’m looking for a stuffed white lamb I had as a child. He’s white, with black hooves, and has glossy black eyes made of plastic. He had a noisemaker in him – I believe it made ”baa” sound (mine was broken). I’m afraid I don’t know what brand he was, but I got him in the early 90’s so he was made around then or perhaps a bit earlier. He had a light brown plaid bow around his neck.
I lost him when I was 16. I moved from my foster home, and when I went back for my stuff he was gone. He was my favorite stuffed animal, and I used to carry him everywhere with me.
Any help finding a replacement, or even information about what brand he is, would be greatly appreciated.

I’m so glad someone has a service like this! I am desperately searching for a plush hippo I had when I was a kid. I’m pretty sure she was either a Dakin, Applause, or a Gund brand. I saw some photos online of the Dakin Lou Rankin animals, and the sad little eyes look so familiar I’m betting that the brand was Dakin.
She was sort of small, no longer than 8 or so inches and no taller than 4 or 5. She was kind of a creamish-yellowy-orange color with brown set-back eyes just like the Lou Rankin elephant. Her little legs were much shorter and fatter than the Lou Rankin grey hippo, though. She was purchased at a Noah’s Ark store probably around 1992 or 1993.
Most unfortunately, I don’t have a photo of her. I did write a children’s book for a project several years ago, and used her as the model for my illustrations, though. I’ll see if I can find the book so I can scan and send you my illustration… it was pretty realistic.

Searching – Sleeping Red Fox
Robin is still looking for this realistic fox.
I am looking for a Sleeping Fox that I saw once, I think back in the 90′s. It was part of the setting for a catalogue for English hunting paraphernalia.
The fox appeared to be less than 12″ curled in a circle with nose under tail, and one eye (left, I think) open. It had red fur with white trim. It appeared to be a stuffed animal, but it looked very life-like.
We live in a fox-habitat area, so I was attracted to it. I do hope you can find it. It looked so real!

Searching – 90′s Eden WHITE SLEEPING BEAR with PINK THERMAL SLEEPER
I’m looking for a 90′s Eden white sleeping bear with pink terry pajamas with rainbow trim. The eyes are shut, and it has a plastic nose. He’s wearing a night cap.
I REALLY NEED HELP!
I have had my bear since I was born 18 years ago in 1993. I named my bear Sleepy, since his eyes are sewn shut with blue thread.
Sleepy has been there for me through everything and is now faded and very torn up.I don’t think Sleepy can make it much longer, and I don’t want to damage him further. My Grandmother, who passed away a couple of years ago stitched him up, and I don’t want to damage those stitches which remind me of her.
I have to have Sleepy to sleep with at night, and I would love it if I could find a replacement. Please help me if you can! I would be very very grateful.

Searching – SNOOZIE Pajama Wearing LAMB Talks – Whisker Kiss
Both sisters are still looking for this Snoozie lamb.
When I was younger my sister Jamie and I had this toy that we loved. I have done a lot of internet searching for it, and have come up empty handed….please help!
It was a lamb that was wearing pajamas, and I think he had a pj hat, too. I believe the pajamas were light colored with vertical stripes. He was called a Snoozie (sp?). He had a box inside and said the following phrases: “Snoozies love to snuggle tooo” “What I really miss is a whisker kiss”, and “Kiss me and hug me, squeeze me a love me. I guess our mom ordered it on some kind of home shopping network in either the early 90′s or late 80′s.

Searching – 90′s LARGE BROWN & WHITE BEAR Wearing BLUE & WHITE SAILOR SUIT

I’ve had this sailor bear that my parents bought at a thrift store since the early 1990s. As you can see in the photo, he’s pretty rough looking. I am looking for a duplicate of him, but unfortunately I’ve forgotten the name of the manufacturer, and his tag has fallen off of him years ago. Oh, he also had a red ribbon on his chest with tiny polka dots, but this came off of him years and years ago.
I had a duplicate, but it got lost in my parents’ massive storage unit five years ago when our house was foreclosed. Ever since then I’ve been looking for another one. There is also a smaller version of this bear out and about as well.
