YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!! Thank you SOOOOO much for finding my lovey! I contacted the seller on ebay and my pup is now on his way home, finally! My birthday is in a month, what an absolute wonderful birthday gift to myself. Thank you again!

One of our Fabulous Finders, Amber, has sold this dog before. She provided the manufacturer as Animal Fair.
I’m looking for an 80′s tan floppy dog that was made of something like felt. He had dark brown ears and a dark brown tail. There was a light brown ring around his eye, and he had a black nose and a little red tongue. I don’t remember who made him.
I have been searching for this dog for years. My mother donated all of my lovies to those less fortunate….. and unfortunate for me, he was my best friend. I was only 4 or 5 when he was taken away from me. My life would be complete again if I could get him back….. or a distant relative of his
.
I’m almost 30, and I should have gotten over it by now. At least that’s what my husband says. He just doesn’t understand. That dog was my best friend through my parents’ fights and then their eventual separation.
I have to find that dog.

Searching – 70′s Animal Fair? DAKIN? Large BROWN & TAN BEAR with PROMINENT NOSE & OPEN MOUTH
I am looking for my bear that my father gave me in 1978 for Easter. I’m thinking it was made by Animal Fair or DAKIN, possibly picked up at Toys ‘R Us. It was as tall as I was when I was two years old. It was a brown bear, with a light brown face. His nose stuck out, and it had a brown or black pentagon(like superman symbol) for a nose and had a small opened mouth.
He has passed away, and it was the only thing I ever had from him. My mom didn’t see much need for it and has given it away.
I’ve had no luck finding it.
Thank you!

DISCONTINUED – 2008 Carter’s Just One Year WHITE & PURPLE RABBIT with HEARTS on TUMMY
Courtney writes:
I was unable to fool my lovey with a replacement lovie, so I have to give up the search and hope “Buhney” (now baby Bunny because the imposter became Mommy Bunny) makes it a few more years!
Thanks so much for keeping us in mind! And good luck with the rest of your network’s lovies!
Robin is still looking for this rabbit.
I am looking for the Carter’s Just One Year white bunny with purple ears, hands and feet. It also has multi-color hearts on its tummy.
It has become the must-have companion for my one and a half year old daughter, so the bunny should be a 2008 model. His name is “Buh-ey” (her pronunciation of Bunny), and he is asked for whenever she is upset, on her way to bed, bored, pretty much always! The only time they are apart is when she goes to daycare…when she sadly says “bye-bye buhey”. I’m not even sure how they got so close…I think Bunny was the first stuffed animal she was allowed to have in her crib (once it was safe).
I’m terribly concerned for the day that Bunny falls apart, so I’m seeking back ups. I am only interested in new versions and am only willing to pay a fair price.
Thank you!

Searching – 80′s Animal Fair GREEN PARROT with ORANGE BEAK
Carrot has been my beloved stuffed parrot since for ever. He is rather worn out and, while he cannot be replaced in my heart, I would like to find another in better condition.
He’s a stuffed parrot in a rich green (not bright) with an orange beak. Out around the beak is yellow, as are his feet. The eyes are large green and black plastic with a white ring and then a green ring of fake leather like material underneath. It has wings and is just under 12 inches tall.
He was manufactured by Animal Fair out of Eden Valley MN. I have owned him since the early eighties and as far as I know he was new when I got him. He is missing all his “tail feathers”, which were just cloth in the shape of a feather.
A replacement would be something I could give to a future child, or at least show them what Carrot used to look like.
Thank you for having this wonderful site.

Searching – 70′s? 80′s? LARGE BRIGHT RED Fred Flintstone DINO the DINOSAUR
When my son was very little, he had a large, red, Dino the Dinosaur. By the time he was a teenager, it didn’t seem like he cared about this large stuffed animal – so I gave it away to our church among items to be sold at a rummage sale. Big mistake!!!
Now, nearly 20 years later, my son still enjoys giving me grief about giving away his Dino the Dinosaur. For his birthday this year – I’d love to surprise him with a “replacement” Dino the Dinosaur. ( By the way, my son is now married and has children of his own!)
I have no photos of Dino- because I didn’t realize his sentimental value to our son…until it was gone!
It was one of those large animals that people win at fairs – probably 24″ high at it’s back, and 36″ at the top of it’s head. The fabric was quite thin – but not shiny. I’m not expecting to find the exact stuffed animal – but would be excited to find any large, bright red stuffed Flintstone Dino.
Thanks so much,
Laura

Searching – 90′s Small WHITE BEARS with AQUA & BLUE "T-SHIRTS"
I have these two stuffed bears. One I got when I was 4 (1990), and the other when I was 7(1993). They are small (one is 6″, the other 7 1/2″), and were originally white.
I drew on him when I was a kid, so what you see on the chest is marker. There are no distinguishing features… just white bears with solid color t-shirts and the inside of their ears and bottoms of their feet the same color as the shirt. The one bear has a light blue shirt, and the other has sort of an aqua green shirt. I named them Berry Bear Fair and Berry Bear Care. I don’t know the manufacturer’s name.
I got one as a gift from a friend of the family, who has long since passed away. The other I got from a bag of random stuffed animals my mom picked up at a thrift store for a couple bucks. That’s why I really don’t know anything at all about these two. The tags were missing when I got them, but I found where the tag once was, on the left side of the bottom. I don’t know if that’s any kind of useful information, though. lol.
I would love any information you could give me about these bears. I would love to acquire more of them if I’m able to find any. If there are other colors out there, though, I’d like to know about it. I would be very happy if I could get my hands on some other colors.

FOUND – Walmart Commonwealth FLOPPY GERMAN SHEPHERD DOG Top Priority
Kelli is just sure that this is the one that Traci is looking for, because she is looking for it, too!
Well, I may possibly be too old to have a stuffed animal at 17, but this dog is my baby. He’s on my lap right now. No, I haven’t lost him, but I am terrified of doing so.
He’s at least seven years old by now, and turning green in the legs with age and much love. Because I know that even when I turn thirty I will love this dog, I want him to last. But to sleep at night without him, I need a replacement.
Also, for Traci- my dog sounds EXACTLY like the one that was stolen from you, and I am fairly certain I have the same one, purchased at the same place- I think Walmart. My doggie’s nose is fabric, and everything matches. I would just like to add to yours that, if it helps, his tag is still very slightly intact- I can make out the letters ‘con’ but it fades after that. My first thought was Commonwealth, and Anastasia confirms by guess as being correct.
So, if anyone knows where to find another one of him, please tell me or Traci.
Um, only link I’ve ever found for a picture is HERE.
Hi Rosemary! I did win this on eBay and sadly, it isn’t the same one, either. But it is so much like her old one, and it’s been some time since she lost “Greta” that I will quit looking for her sake. I think maybe it happened for a reason (that her puppy was stolen). She is so trusting and was heartbroken that maybe it will save her from being so heartbroken for some other reason in the future. Thank you so much for all your help, and I appreciate everyone that sent in info. Thanks so much.
Traci
A month ago, my 10 year old brought her favorite toy, Greta as she calls her, about 10-12″ German Shepard plush dog to a local park and left it sit on the park bench to look at the lake.
A teenage boy ran by without stopping and snatched it. It was going on dark and there was no hope of finding her. I don’t know who is more heartbroken over it; her or me watching her.
It had legs that were floppy and straight and got bigger towards the bottom. No feet, just legs that were round at the bottom. It did not have any movable or poseable arms or legs. It was not in a sitting pose; it’s legs were just straight. It was black and tan. I bought it at Walmart or Kmart about five years ago for @$10. I think it was named a purebred series or something close.
Any help would be so appreciated.
Traci

FOUND – Carter’s YELLOW GIRAFFE Green BLANKIE Blue Satin Trim
We are searching for a security blankie made by Carter’s. It has a giraffe head (yellow and rattles slightly), with a green blanket body and blue satin trim. It has a light blue bow. We received it as a gift in Feb. 2005.
What kind of mom doesn’t put a name tag / number on their kid’s lovey?? Twice. Yes, I allowed my child to lose her SECOND lovey. I feel HORRIBLE. We lost the first (froggy) in 8/08. It was sad, but froggy was quickly replaced with a ferocious love for another blanket Liliana had, whom she promptly named ‘Blankie’. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll have much success this second time with convincing Liliana to adopt a new friend as her lovey since we are now a year older and a year wiser – she fully understands now what a “lovey” is, how most kids have one, and she knows that “Blankie” is irreplacable.
She was actually ‘okay’ for a few days with cuddling with some of her other stuffed animals. But, today in the car, she started crying again and telling me again, “I REALLY miss her.” I asked, “Who?” She said, “Blanky. Remember she has a soft, beautiful green dress and a bow? I want her tBlankie was made by Carter’s –

o come home now cause she is my special lovey.” She was truly hurting for her friend.I am reaching out to all of you who have a child within a year of mine in hopes that you may have an expendible duplicate of our lost Blankie. Its condition is of no consequence. I will spin a tale of a visit to the Fairy godmother who cleaned and fixed or a tale of a deep grimy adventure…
Thanks!

Searching – Commonwealth CREAM & TAN MOUSE plus Walmart GREEN & CREAM FROG
I have two lovies I am looking to replace.
I purchased my son’s frog from Walmart in late 2004. He took to him right away (as an infant) and although he is missing an eye and his belly has lost all stuffing, he is the favorite/security frog. He is affectionately known as “Cog”.
He is approximately 16″. His toes and butt are filled with bean bag material…the rest is/was fiberfill of some sort. His fur is very plush…I think it is what is called chenille plush. He is green all over with a cream colored chin/tummy and pads of his “hands” and “feet”.
His eyes are/were white plastic quarter sized “marbles” with green and black painted detail and protrude from his head. The area where his eyes are/were is green (no cream). His “mouth” is a slight very thin smile embroidered in bright red. I have searched all over and have found some frogs that are close, but not “Cog”.
My daughter’s lovey came from a search on Ebay. The seller was not a commercial stuffed animal seller and therefore has no info on where to find another one. The lovey is a mouse.
He was made in 1993 by the Commonwealth Toy company. Now this mouse comes in two different sizes (20″ and 14″ approx) and two color schemes (grey w/ pink accents and cream w/light brown accents). I am looking for the smaller 14″ mouse in cream w/ light brown markings on pads of “hands”, “feet”, inside of ears, and nose.
He has two fairly close set glass eyes with a thin brown iris and larger black pupil. The eyes are bigger than a pencil eraser but smaller than a dime. He has a long tail (approx 7.5″) and large round “mousy” ears. My daughter affectionately calls him, “Mou-Mou”. When I first bought him he was very soft and plush…but is now well worn and “ratty” after quite a few baths. He has a bean bag butt but the rest is filled with some sort of fiberfill.
A unique characteristic of this mouse (in both sizes) is the slight offset turn of his head (turned slightly to the right when looking at him). I am not sure if this will be obvious from the pics because he is so worn so I wanted to mention it.
Please, please help. We are desperate for both to be replaced!!!

Fess Up! Have You Ever WON a Plush Toy?
Did you ever win a stuffed toy at the County Fair, Amusement Park, or the Carnival? Or maybe you spent way too much money trying to get that claw to pick up one special stuffed animal in a vending machine?
I remember having a stuffed clown, with a pointed hat, dressed in a Harlequin green and yellow pattern. I do NOT remember how much I spent at the Fair before I won him, but I do remember being so proud of that little fellow!
When our daughters were dating, I remember several HUGE stuffed animals that took up residence at our house, when boyfriends would win them, showing off. (The love for the stuffed animal usually outlasted the interest in the boy!!)
I’m looking for an 80′s tan floppy dog that was made of something like felt. He had dark brown ears and a dark brown tail. There was a light brown ring around his eye, and he had a black nose and a little red tongue. I don’t remember who made him.
