FOUND – 2007? SMALL BRIGHT YELLOW Beanie CHICK DUCK with WINGS ORANGE BEAK, FEET
I ordered one of the the “Chickie” ducks Tami suggested, and my son is very happy with it. Really the only big difference is the beak. So I guess it’s still not “Found”, but “Close enough”.
=) Thanks so much!!
Candace
The photo is NOT of the correct chick / duck, but looks similar, except for the beak. The one Candace is looking for has a pale yellow bow.
Since so many helpful people have found ducks that were not the right one, Candace has drawn this sketch.
My 5 year old son recently lost his favorite “Chickie”, which I think is actually a duck. This tiny beanie duck was his constant companion for the past year, and he is heartbroken about losing it. Chickie went to school with him everyday, and the whole school loved him too. He was lost on a road trip, so I have no idea where he could be.
I have no pictures of Chickie, as he was always in my son’s pocket! The tag was a tiny silky thing, and I couldn’t read any of the writing on it.
“Chickie” is seated and about 3-4 inches tall, bright yellow with bright orange feet and bill, with a pale yellow bow ribbon. He’s filled with tiny beads and is not plush – he felt similar to suede material. He had flaps for wings and little flaps for feet – no arms or legs or hair tuft.
I did find some similar animals from Oriental Trading Co, and it may have come from there??
I have been scouring the internet for weeks trying to find him or something similar, but as I can’t remember where he came from about 3 years ago, I’m not having much luck.
Please help!!
Thanks,
Candace

Searching – 2004 Chosun SMALL WHITE Beanie Lying Down DOG with RED EARS, EYE PATCH, HEART on TUSH
I’m looking for a back-up for my son’s stuffed puppy. The tag says Chosun Int’l. It’s about 6 to 8 inches long from nose to feet, lying down on its belly. It is white with red ears, black nose, red patch on one eye, and a red heart on its tush. “Puppy” is covered with what feels like velour, and the body is filled with pellets. The paws and head are soft plush.
Unfortunately, my daughter got it when she was a baby as a gift, and I don’t remember who gave it to us, nor would I expect that person to remember where they got it.
My son is 2, and his older sister, who is 6, got this puppy when she was a baby. She wasn’t interested in it, so it sat in a bin with other stuffed animals. My son stumbled upon it last year, and is literally attached to it!
My son takes this little guy to bed, and he’s clearly his “security blanket”. “Puppy” goes everywhere with him and is surface washable only. Needless to say, Puppy is looking more gray than white lately.
I would love to find a backup and have searched on eBay and Googled Chosun, but to no avail. Even if a backup can’t be found, I would appreciate any suggestions on how to surface wash this little guy so he lasts longer.
Thanks you so much!
Happy New Year!

Searching – TY Small CHOCOLATE BROWN Standing BEANIE DOG
On a visit to Minnesota, our granddaughter lost her prized TY dog “chocolate”. She states that the dog is standing and looking straight ahead with no collar or markings. The dog will fit into a normal female hand and is a chocolate color. That is all I know.

Searching – Beanie Style SMALL BLACK & ORANGE STRIPED TIGER with WHITE FACE & TUMMY
We are trying to replace our son’s beloved tiger that he lost last summer. It’s the right size and looks like a TY beanie baby, but all my searching through the catalogs hasn’t turned anything up that’s a match.
He is striped black and burnt orange with a white face and belly, and his black thread mouth looks like it’s in a smile.
We were travelling in Montreal last summer with our two kids and my husband’s parents, and somehow my son’s beloved “Hobbes” failed to come home with us. We emailed the hotel and searched the car and luggage high and low, but no Hobbes. My son Tristan is almost 9, and has brought Hobbes with him everywhere imaginable since he got him about 4 years ago.
I thought maybe he had gotten over him since I had not been able to find a replacement, but in his letter to Santa he asked for “a new Hobbes (urgent), please!” So I thought maybe your community might be able to identify this particular tiger, and we could find a replacement.
Thanks for helping.
Blessings,
Leslie

Searching – 2007 Target Best Made Toys SMALL LYING DOWN BEIGE BEANIE DOG
Thanks to one of our Fabulous Finders, we now know that this is a Best Made Toys dog.
Can anyone help us? My son has somehow lost his favorite puppy. He has loved this his whole life, and he is so sad.
It was bought at Target at Christmas time 2002, and is not a common brand name toy. It is a beanie-type puppy with a beige terry cloth body, and a brown embroidered nose. The puppy is in a lying down position. From nose to toes he measures about 8.5 inches.
We would be so happy if we could find a replacement puppy.
Thank you,
Kathryn

FOUND – 70′s? 80′s? Knickerbocker GINGER BROWN Beanie DOG
Tami is a genius! It is the right dog, but fluffier than the one we used to fight over. I did the buy it now. Let’s hope it arrives safe!! If you could pass on my thanks to Tami and of course thanks to you,
Martin
I am looking for a small ginger brown dog with a few beans in the body. It must have been from 1984 or there abouts. We did not have money, so it could have easily come from the late 70′s, as most of our toys were second hand.It had barely stuffed feet and head, which made it floppy. It had a small tail like an unstuffed “D” shape the same colour as the body. It had a beige muzzle, and I believe the bottoms of its paws were beige, too. It had a face shaped a bit like Snoopy. The nose was plastic, but coated in that fake leather stuff. It was black and oval shaped.
It had “cartoony” blue eyes. The eyes were flat like buttons, but oval shaped and they had a blue colour with a black dot in the middle and white round the edge.
It was similar material to a Dakin Fozzie Bear we used to have, but not shaggy. It had floppy ears (again a bit like Snoopy), which were brown on the tops and beige underneath. I think it had a red cotton smile at one point, but the mouth did not open. I’ve shown Martin some Drooper dogs, and he says that it’s close, but definitely not that dog.
My sister and I used to fight over this dog. Eventually I was forced to let her have it, and she left it on a train somewhere! My sister always got her own way, and, just because I wanted the dog, she did. She screamed and naturally got her own way!
I asked her about it, and she does not even remember what I am talking about!
I would like to try and find one again, so I can show it to her and have one again. I have never seen another one since on eBay, bootsales or jumble sales -
just want to recall some happy memories (of fighting over silly stuff!!)Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Martin

Searching – 2007 PBK Pottery Barn Kids CREAM & BROWN BEANIE DOG
Hi! My son has this PBK puppy that we received as a gift when he was a baby. I don’t remember whether Pottery Barn Kids had a name for the puppy, but it was purchased from their Marlton, NJ store in June or July of 2007. The puppy has brown paw pads appliqued on the bottom of its feet, and it’s filled with little plastic pellets, so it feels like a floppy beanbag. The fabric isn’t fur, but more of a chenille terry.
He can’t sleep without it at night, and he’s having trouble transitioning into his new room at daycare, so I thought it might help if he had a spare (or two, just in case!) to get him over this rough patch.
Thanks,
Laura

Searching – SMALL Beanie Type LEOPARD with BIG TRIANGLE BLACK NOSE Top Priority
My son, who is nearly 10, has high functioning Autisum. He has since the age of 1 carried a leopard round with him. It has never left his side, ’til one day it was stolen from school. My son cannot settle without him.
It’s approximately between 5 and 7 inches, bean filled, covered in terry type material, and very soft and floppy.
We have thought that if we get one that looks the same we can say he has been on holiday. We really hope you are able to help, as it breaking his heart being without him.
We are so, so desperate to find another that’s the same. If any one can help please, please contact me.
Many many thanks,
Liz

FOUND – TY PATCHES BEIGE & BROWN Beanie Buddy? DOG
Thanks to one of our Fabulous Finders, we now know for sure that this is a TY Patches dog.
Please help me find a beige and brown TY beanie dog… I can’t remember his name, but I’m so desperate to replace my son’s favourite toy that was left on a train to London and never found….
I have since purchased both Perkins and Scraps, both TY beanie dogs, in the hope that one of them would be the same as my son’s dog. Perkins was the right size, which leads me to believe my son’s dog was a TY Beanie Buddy, but not the right toy. My son’s toy is not as furry as Perkins. His dog had shorter hair and was not quite so plump!
Scraps looks like the same kind (or breed) of dog that I’m looking for, but he’s much too big…. However his colouring and positioning of patches is very similar to the toy I’m looking for….
I know this is a long shot, but if someone could maybe just give me some ideas as to what the TY beanie I’m looking for is called, or even where to find a listing of every TY beanie dog ever made (with pictures) I would be so grateful…..

Searching – 90′s GRAY & PINK PARASAUROLOPHUS DINOSAUR Beanie
This is a drawing of what a REAL Parasaurolophus might have looked like, just to give you some idea of what Jocelyn is looking for in a beanie version.
I am looking for a Parasaurolophus soft plush beanie toy. I named him Perry when I was younger.
I don’t remember when I lost him, but I want him because he is special, and he was my childhood favorite. Perry is not like other dinosaur plush toys, because he is silky light gray and pink. He has a gray upper part and bright pink on the belly. He has a medium short gray tail and has flat gray feet and short gray arms. Perry also has a thin neck. He has a smile on his face with black plastic eyes and two nostrils by his smile. He also has this medium crest on his head. He is about 7 to 9 inches tall, with beans inside of him.
I don’t think I have any pictures of Perry, and he is about 12 years old, and I think he got lost when we moved or got sold at a garage sale. I think I was 5 years old when I got him.
I don’t know where I got him. My cousin gave him to me.
Can you please help me find a new one? I just miss him sooo much, and he was a good friend.

Searching for Information – BEIGE Beanie DOG with BROWN EYE PATCH, TAIL & EAR
I have a beanie dog, but it isn’t a TY beanie baby. I have had him for 7 years now, since I was 5, and I want to know what his original name was and what company made him. He is beige, has a brown patch over his left eye ( if you are looking at him), his right ear is brown, and his tail is unstuffed and also brown. His body is bean filled and floppy and his head feels like it is stuffed.
I would really be happy if I could find what company made “Patch”.
Thanks!

FOUND – Luv n’ Care SMALL GRAY & WHITE Beanie CAT
Rosemary–
I wanted to let you know that I received the cat yesterday. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I am so grateful to you and to all the caring people who go to the trouble of finding these lovies! I will continue to search through your site to see if I have anything that another child is needing–it’s the least I can do to pay back the kindness.
With much appreciation,
Jackie
My five year-old has developed an attachment to a small gray and white plush cat made by Luv n’ Care. I bought it at a Target store a few years ago for about a dollar. The cat is about four inches long, with white legs, face and underbelly and gray head, body and tail, with a white tip on its tail. It has black thread freckles and eyes, and a pink thread nose.
My daughter has autism, and it has taken this long for her to form an attachment to any stuffed animal, and now she won’t sleep without it. She has started to want to take it everywhere with her. Our fear is that it will become too dirty (she becomes upset when it becomes dirty or wet and needs it cleaned/dried right away) or lost, so we want to find a back-up or two for that “just-in-case”.
I noticed that another mom had posted something about this very sort of cat, but I didn’t see any replies, so I don’t know if anyone knows where we can get a couple more of these.
Thank you so much, in advance, for any help in finding these!

FOUND – RUSS Valentine’s Day Wild Life MOUSE HOLDING a HEART
I’ve added the brand information Heath was able to find from the tush tag on the mouse he bought. So now we know that it is a RUSS Valentine’s Day Wild Life Mice.
Amazing… now that I know the brand, I was able to find this mouse for sale on the internet.

“Little Squeaky Mouse” was a gift from my wife in the first month or two after we started dating and became a sentimental favorite.
Somehow he scampered away, and I would love to find one of his cousins. He was maybe three inches tall and was a “beanie” style critter, but not a Ty beanie baby.
I think he came from a gift shop in Aiken, SC and was purchased in 2000.

Searching – 2005 Short Hair TAN BEANIE DOG
We were given a small tan dog, stuffed with plastic beans when in America, and it has become very, very important. I think it was “preloved”, I so don’t know the original supplier.
I don’t think it was a “beanie baby”, but a similar brand. I have been trawling the internet trying to find it. The dog was given to us by an American friend, so I am hoping that it is an American product.
I guess our story is similar to many other’s in that she was a treasured friend, support, crutch and partner-in-crime-and -adventure for my child. She has been all around the world with us and supported my son in the many transitions he has had to make.
He doesn’t believe she has gone and still spends his days creating houses/rockets/birthday parties/rock concerts/crowns/pictures etc. for her.
I would be so very, very grateful if someone knew where she was bought or who produced her.
Thank you very much,
Danielle
