FOUND – Baby GUND No. 58233 DOTTIE DOTS PINK CAT BLANKIE

We have a mailing list of families looking for the different Dottie Dots blankies. But it took me so long to get this request posted that Kristine has already found one.

I’m looking for a Baby GUND DOTTIE DOTS No. 58233 16 inch square blankie. It has a pink chenille cat head and arms on one corner of the pink velour white polka dot side. It has a pink knit backing with satin piped binding.

My 3-year old daughter has had her pink kitty since she was a few months old. All of my children have a different Dottie Dot. She was spending the day with my in-laws and took Kitty to McDonald’s. They went back after they discovered it was left behind, and it was no where to be found. We called and searched and nothing.

I have searched the internet for hours and nothing. So if you can help my baby girl, I would appreciate it.

FOUND – Cracker Barrel GRAY ELEPHANT PINK BLANKIE SWEET BABY BLESSINGS

I’m looking for a Cracker Barrel CHERISHED BEGINNINGS by Vicki Schreiner square 13 inch blankie with a gray velour elephant head and arms, pink ears, and gray hair tuft. The pink minky super soft blankie is embroidered SWEET BABY BLESSINGS. It has rounded corners and pink satin binding, and it’s a rattle.

My 26 month old daughter, Ellie, received this security blanket from her Grammy when she was born. My sweet girl has LOVED this security blanket, which she named Ra-Ra, to pieces…literally, and beyond repair. I have searched far and wide for another one with no luck, even contacting the designer Vicki Schreiner. Ellie’s Grammy recently lost her battle with breast cancer (at 50 years old), making her attachment and love for the Elsie security blanket all the stronger. Ra-Ra has been with Ellie all her short life, day and night, and a constant source of comfort during this sad time of loss.

Any help finding another Ra-Ra would be so greatly appreciated by us. Thank you again for all of your help.

Thanks for this, but believe it or not its not the same and he knows it! The rattle is different and there is no silk on it….I paid $40 for this one and he hates it LOL

I’m looking for a Sandra Magsamen Wishes & Kisses blue velour blankie with a white and brown dog head and arms in the center. The dog has blue lining to the ears and a blue eye patch. Mommy Ruffs You is embroidered on the blankie, and the binding is striped. It is blue satin lined.

This blanket is my son’s love, he goes NOWHERE without it. He refers to it as his “baby”. When I put it in the wash to clean it, he actually stands at the washing machine and says, “Baby, Baby, Baby.” I have tried decoys, but they do not work for him. I need a back up in case God forbid something happens, and this child’s world does not come crashing in on him at the tender age of 2!

I only have one of them, and I am looking to have another for back up.

Searching – BROWN Velour MONKEY Security Blanket with TAIL

Jeanie has found some substitutes, but would still like to find the exact duplicate of this blankie.

Help! I am in tears because I can’t find my 20 month old’s lovey. It’s a pale brown monkey head attached to a square soft cloth with a spiral tail at one corner. One side is really soft like velour. I hope you can find it.

Searching – DanDee Collector’s Choice Large BROWN MONKEY Diaper Stacker BLANKIE

I’m looking for a DanDee COLLECTOR’S CHOICE 24 inch Gown Style Extra Large Plush Comfy Blankie with Brown Velour Monkey Head and Arms and Cream Face, Ears, and Hands. There’s a Blue Embroidered Stars Opening with Ribbon Ties in Back for a Blanket? and Brown Satin Binding.

We are on the look out for a couple of these. I really need it for my 7 month old daughter, who uses the monkey as her baby. I bought it a couple years ago and can only find it for $30 on eBay, which is more than I can pay. It’s kind of scary when I’m washing it. I don’t want my daughter to be without her “baby” ever:)

Searching – Russ Comfy Kitty YELLOW CAT GREEN CHECKERBOARD BLANKIE

I’m looking for a Russ Berrie Comfy Kitty blanket (also called Russ Kids Bright Beginnings Kitty Blanket) with a bright yellow head on one corner of a green and white checkerboard blankie with knotted corners.

My grandson is very attached to the one he has, and we can’t find a replacement. With several washings, it is wearing out, so we hope to find a new one. Amazon.com and a few other places say it is out of stock, but maybe someone out there has one.

Searching – Breathe Easy Baby GREEN & WHITE FROG BLANKIE

I’m looking for a green frog (who has a great big smile) with a green with white polka dot blankie. The blanket has a green silk lining. It is made by Breathe Easy Baby/ Animal Adventure. It is 18 inches square. We got this as a gift, so I have no idea what store even carried this type of blankie.

My daughter Emma loves her Froggy! When our dear Emma was born 6 months ago, she received so many adorable gifts. She was immediately drawn to this Froggy security blanket. She would snuggle up to it and instantly fall asleep.

She will only fall asleep with him in her arms!! She sleeps with it every night and whenever she naps during the day!

We misplaced it the other day and panic set in! We were able to find it, but I now am on the search to locate a back up. I don’t know if she could handle losing Froggy again.

Any help would be appreciated!!

Searching – Manhattan SUE the DUCK BLUE & YELLOW BLANKIE

We now have a mailing list of people looking for this blankie.

I’m looking for a satin and plush blankie that looks like a duck, with light blue satin on one side and yellow plush on the other. It was made by Manhattan Toy and is called Sue the Duck.

This duck was given to our daughter, Jay, as a birth present 7 1/2 years ago. Jay has slept with her “Ducky” every night of her life (until recently) – it has been her only “security blanket” – she’s had no other blanket or object that has a been a “must have” for her. Whenever she cries or has a tough time, she goes to Ducky to snuggle.

We unfortunately lost Ducky on a drive to a camping trip two weekends ago. Our best guess is that it fell out of our car when we stopped for dinner – Jay had been sleeping with Ducky in the car. Losing Ducky has been a very big deal for Jay — she tells us every day that she misses Ducky.
