Searching – 70′s? BLACK & WHITE RACCOON Windup BRAHMS LULLABY
Brian is still looking for this musical raccoon.
I am looking for a 70′s, maybe 80′s, stuffed musical black and white raccoon that played Brahms Lullaby (musical box inside butt with music crank key in the rear). It was mine as a child and it was horribly ruined!
I have a son now, and I recently received a musical jewelry box for Christmas that made me think of my most favorite and loved toy. The raccoon and any photos we might have had of him were lost in the Perry Creek flood of Sioux City in 1990.
I would love for my son to share the same memories to fall asleep to. Finding it would make my heart fly!!!

Searching – RUSS? 70′s WINSTON & DOOBIE Beige DOGS and 80′s Standing 10″ WHITE LAMB
Rex says the lamb in this photo is something like his, but his had closer cropped hair and the eyes were glass buds. No tongue was visible and the legs were thin but stiff. The Lamb – who had no tag and went by Lammie as far as I was concerned – was a little white lamb with blue eyes and mine kind of twisted a little so the legs didn’t quite line up. The lamb would be from 1983-5, and had short, nappy, white hair.
Thanks to one of our Fabulous Finders we now have a photo of Winston and of Dooby, and the dogs have been found.
I am looking for two dogs and a lamb from my childhood. These were my favorite – not that we like to have favorites – friends growing up. The dogs were my mum’s before they were mine and would have been from the late 70′s.
When I was 17 my step-father threw them out by accident. The two dogs, Winston and Doobie, had tags that read as much, and they were off-white or beige and had heads that were as long as the rest of them. Doobie was the little one. Sorry, but I don’t think I have any photos.
When I get sad I miss them very much to this day, and if someone could help me it would mean a tremendous amount to me to have my old friends around.

Searching – 70′s Eden YELLOW LION Plays YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE – HEAD MOVES
There are TWO Barbara’s looking for this lion, who are part of the mailing list of people looking for it. THIS Barbara has just contacted me, and is definitely still looking for one.
My daughter, who is now 32, was crushed YEARS ago when her musical lion that played “You Are My Sunshine” was thrown away. I remember some red yarn on it, which doesn’t show in the photo.
I had no idea how sentimental she was, or the significance of the item.
It is a bit scary that this photo is from the post of someone named Barbara with a 33 year old child (mine 32), and your name is Rosemary, my mom’s name who died right before my child was born. Anyway, sure hope you can help me find one.
I have been searching to replace it for years. Can you help me??!!

FOUND – Carter’s Child of Mine PINK SQUARES TAGGIES BLANKIE
This is my attempt at an edited photo, so it’s not totally accurate.
I’m searching for a pink 14 inch blankie made by Carter’s Child of Mine. It is small and square with ”tags” of satin on the edges. The only difference between the edit and the original blanket is that the tags are pink and green to correspond with the main portion of the blanket.
The color isn’t as important, either. I’ve seen one green one on eBay, although I’d definitely prefer pink.
My daughter has lost this blanket twice, but fortunately the first time she lost it they were still selling them, and we were able to replace it. I know Carter’s is no longer producing the blankets, and they are very rare.
If you can help, I would appreciate it so much. My 2 and 1/2 year old daughter would also appreciate any help in finding ’her favorite blankie’.

I’m looking for a Carter’s CHILD OF MINE No. F21721H 14 inch square blankie with a blue chenille dog head and arms in the middle. The dog has darker blue ears and muzzle, and he has a green bow. The blue velour blankie is embroidered THANK HEAVEN FOR LITTLE BOYS. It has blue satin binding and lining, and the dog head has a rattle in it.
My son has become very attached to this lovey, and it’s becoming very worn and frankly, kind of gross. I’d be very grateful if you can help me find one of these for a replacement.

Searching – Carter’s Child of Mine SMALL One Piece YELLOW & ORANGE DUCK
I’m searching for the matching Carter’s Child of Mine stuffed duck toy that came with a duck-themed one-piece that snapped up the front. This duck is all yellow with some orange lines drawn onto it to be its wings. The duck is all one piece, it has no extended body parts, if that makes sense.
My 18 month old son is completely attached to it and had lost it for awhile. I’ve decided to try and find a second one in case we lose it forever.

Kira has found one, but Orly is still looking for this blanket.
Hi, I am also looking for this Child of Mine chenille striped blanket with blue, light blue, green, and red. I know I purchased it at Wal-Mart in 2006 or 2007.
My child has been attached to it since he was about a year old. I realize he’ll get over it if he doesn’t have one, but he can be quite unpleasant. I’ve tried other Carter’s or Child of Mine blankets, but he likes his red “night-night.”

FOUND – 2008 Carter’s Child of Mine SMALL TAN KOALA BEAR with LAVENDER BOW & SWIRLS on FEET
My 1 year old daughter just lost her “Baby” Koala Bear. He is light tan with a lilac (lavender) colored bow around his neck, and he is just about 4″ tall. The koala bear was bought at Wal-Mart in 2008, and the brand is Carter’s Child of Mine.
We have desperately searched everywhere for it and have come up with nothing. She is used to having him with her at all times, and the poor little thing looks uncomfortable now. She doesn’t know what to do with her hands…. Please help us find one just like it!!

Mary had a little lamb. Well, she still has it, unfortunately, the stuffing is getting flattened, and the fur is getting dirty. We can’t wash it, because of the music box.

Searching – 70′s Sears WINNIE THE POOH

I’m looking for a 1977-78? old school Sears Pooh bear.
I had lost my Pooh bear at the ATlanta airport along with my baggage, when I got back from Europe. I slept with this Pooh bear as a child. I blame my dad, because he kept getting angry, and rushing me.
Anyway, I always wanted to pass this Pooh bear to my child, even when I was little.
Also, it doesn’t have to look new. Mine was rather worn. It still had the eyes, but the red mouth, and red shirt were gone. The fur was not very fluffy and sort of just matted.
Can you help me????
Soon my daughter will be too old to care like I do.

FOUND – 2008 Carter’s Child of Mine PINK RABBIT Wearing DARK PINK VELOUR with PINK FLOWERS on PLACKET Plays Brahms
I’m looking for a Carter’s No. 88873 CHILD OF MINE pink chenille floppy eared rabbit with dark pink velour ears. She’s wearing the same darker pink velour dress and pants. There’s a lavender bow and head strings to tie to a crib. There are embroidered pink flowers (not yellow) on the front placket. It plays Brahms Lullaby.
My daughter uses it as a pacifier since July of 2008, along with the elephant one. I bought the elephants last summer at Target but haven’t found them anywhere. I tried others, but it has to be the bunny and elephant, because of the soft cotton hands on the bunny and the elephant’s trunk. She will not take naps or go to sleep without them.
They are worn out, and I had to throw out the elephants. I wish I had looked online months ago. I only checked the Carter’s site, and that was no help. I hope to find two like new ones.
