I’m looking for a childhood toy of mine. It’s a completely brown dog, with dark brown ears. It has small black eyes and a dark brown patch over its right eye. It’s wearing a white onesy with three yellow ducks across it. He’s about 8″ tall.
I’m in the Navy, and I let a friend of mine borrow it, so his daughter could play with it, and she ended up losing it. Now I’m having a child of my own, and I’ve always wanted my child to have my toy.
Can someone help me find a replacement?

FOUND – Carter’s Just One Year BEIGE BEAR

I’m searching for a replacement for a Child Of Mine Carter’s beige tan baby bear. My second daughter Bethie who is almost 1 year old is the proud owner of this little bear.
She will hold him up and shout out the “B” sound. I purchased him at Walmart as an impulse buy, not thinking that he would become the favorite. After my older daughter’s love of her white chick she calls “Dewie”, you would have thought I’d have learned and purchased two.
Unfortunately, Walmart only had one on the shelf, and I have been searching everywhere since then. Although Bethie’s bear is still in fair shape, she is young, and I fear that I will have the same trouble replacing him as I am finding a new “Dewie”.
I promise, I will always buy in pairs, if not triplets, from here on out!

I am in search of any Jim Henson, Muppets, Fraggle Rock, etc… But my biggest search is for Puppets from his movie, Tale of the Bunny Picnic. There were four puppets made by Applause in 1987.
In the mid 80′s, there was a special on TV called Tale of the Bunny Picnic. It instantly became a favorite of mine, and I fell in love with the cuddly little characters in it. Shortly after it came out, there was a line of stuffed animals made by Applause in 1986.There were 4 in the set, Bean Bunny, Twitch Bunny, Father Bunny and Great-great-great-great grandmother bunny. They were made with children in mine, since they were puppets, and only little hands could make them move.
I used to have Bean Bunny, and he was my favorite toy, but when time came to clean out some old toys, he mistakenly got thrown into the bunch. I have been in search for him ever since. I have learned about him, and that there were 3 other puppets made. I would love to find him again, and, if possible, have him with his family of bunnies as well:)Thanks in advance!:)

FOUND – 1988 “TY” LARGE LEOPARD or CHEETAH
Hi! I did get in touch with Tyler, and we worked out a deal, and he sold the plush to me! I just got it today, and I am so happy!! I cannot believe I found it! I don’t think I would have ever found it if it wasn’t for your site. Thank you so much!

Marybeth has finally heard from TY, and they say it is a counterfeit, BUT Addie has written to say that this is a very rare TY valued as high as $900 IF it is in very good condition. So, we really don’t know if it’s a real TY or not.
Hi! I have been searching for this childhood plush of mine for many years. It is an old Ty leopard (or maybe cheetah?) plush. The tush tag says Ty, and it’s copyrighted 1988.
I know this is an early Ty release, making it VERY rare. I have been searching on and off for years. I’ve checked Ty collector websites, eBay, etc. and I have never seen it anywhere. I can’t even find it mentioned or a picture of it on a website anywhere…it sometimes feels like I have the only one ever made. Lol.
I do still have this plush, but I was only 4 years old when I got it (I’m now almost 25). I carried it everywhere with me. It was my favorite and was definitely “well loved”.
There is a giant hole in its tummy, the beanbag stuffing inside fell out long ago. The eyes are scratched up and the nose fell off long ago too (well actually my family’s former dog chewed it off…).
I would love to find this plush mentioned somewhere at least. I’d like the opportunity to buy one that is in better condition to keep as well. Maybe to keep with my “well loved” one for a comparison. Haha.
Even if you cannot find one for sale, a website that mentions its existence or even has a picture would be so much appreciated! I just can’t find anything, and Ty collectors seem to know nothing about it.

She takes him everywhere, which is why we lost him at the mall. She is not sleeping well without him, because she rubs a corner of the satin backing to soothe herself.
She often plays quietly putting Bubbie to bed and rubbing his “back” until he falls asleep. I tell you, I can’t decide who’s heart is breaking more over the loss of Bubbie … me or her.

Searching – CARTER’S Child of Mine PINK DONUT HOLE RATTLE
I am desperately trying to find a Carter’s Child of Mine Pink Bunny Rattle. I received it as a shower gift 2 1/2 years ago in a Carter’s gift basket with onesies, bunny slippers, etc. My daughter is sooooo attached to this rattle. We have lost it numerous times and were fortunate enough to find it each time. I am afraid that there will come a time that we won’t be able to find it.
It is a plush pink bunny head with a ring for its body. It is about 6″ and is a rattle.

FOUND – Carter’s CHILD OF MINE Small YELLOW PRINT LAMB that Twinkled???
My 4 year old daughter has her “lamby” that she’s never slept without. She won’t go anywhere without it and can’t go to sleep until it is found.It has a jersey body with a light yellow print on it. It is about 8″ with fuzzy legs with peach ends on them. Its head has velour like material on the face that is a light peach material, with bright blue stitched eyes.
It was made exclusively for Walmart in 2003 by Prestige Toys. The manufacturer says it is no longer made. The body has a sound box in it, and I think it used to make a twinkle sound.
The problem is that it’s falling apart and threadbare! The stuffing is coming out, and I’m afraid if I try to re-stuff it and sew it, I’ll ruin it, and then she would be heartbroken.
We’ve been looking for a year or more for one, with no luck. If anyone has seen one we would soooo appreciate it!

FOUND – Carter’s YELLOW GIRAFFE Green BLANKIE Blue Satin Trim
We are searching for a security blankie made by Carter’s. It has a giraffe head (yellow and rattles slightly), with a green blanket body and blue satin trim. It has a light blue bow. We received it as a gift in Feb. 2005.
What kind of mom doesn’t put a name tag / number on their kid’s lovey?? Twice. Yes, I allowed my child to lose her SECOND lovey. I feel HORRIBLE. We lost the first (froggy) in 8/08. It was sad, but froggy was quickly replaced with a ferocious love for another blanket Liliana had, whom she promptly named ‘Blankie’. Unfortunately, I don’t think I’ll have much success this second time with convincing Liliana to adopt a new friend as her lovey since we are now a year older and a year wiser – she fully understands now what a “lovey” is, how most kids have one, and she knows that “Blankie” is irreplacable.
She was actually ‘okay’ for a few days with cuddling with some of her other stuffed animals. But, today in the car, she started crying again and telling me again, “I REALLY miss her.” I asked, “Who?” She said, “Blanky. Remember she has a soft, beautiful green dress and a bow? I am looking for a small white stuffed lamb with a pink bow around its neck.
A good friend of mine gave this lamb to me for my baby when I was pregnant with my first child (a daughter). As she grew the lamb became her lovey, and she brought it with her everywhere and slept with it, etc.
Last year, when she was 4, our daughter broke her elbow, requiring surgery and 8 months of therapy. Little lamb was with her in the hospital and through all of her doctor’s appointments and therapy sessions. Even the therapists knew Little Lamb by name. Around the time my daughter ended therapy Little Lamb could not be found…she was probably brought and left somewhere but we have not been able to pinpoint where.
Every day my daughter asks about Little Lamb, and says that she wishes she could find her. I have found similar stuffed animals, but not the exact one. My friend said that she purchased the lamb at a White House Black Market, a women’s clothing store in 2003.

FOUND – Carter’s CHILD OF MINE Pink DOLL with LOOSE Brown PIGTAILS
I am looking for a Child of Mine plush doll with brown hair with loose pigtails (hair is parted in the front). I bought one for my daughter in 2004.
Her doll has been through a lot of wear and tear over time and now has several holes in the body … not sure how much longer the doll will last. And the body no longer looks PINK, as it should. This doll has been with my daughter since birth and has gone everywhere with her for the past 4 years. To be able to have another one in good condition or even to have this one repaired would be great.
The main difference between this doll and several I have seen on sites like eBay, etc. is that our doll has loose, straight pigtails and every other one I’ve seen thus far has braided pigtails. My daughter also has the doll with the braided pigtails and definitely knows the difference.

I believe I had found another one from my collection. This one is for Bee.
I have the white bunny (I thought mine was a dog all along) that matches the description. I guess, this is what Miffy looks like when she’s brand new. The white bunny has flocked burgundy nose, some had rubbed off and started to look like Miffy’s nose. It has a round tail with working rattle inside.
For anybody that wants the information, this bunny is made by Gund in 1982.

I am looking for a stuffed bunny. Some say that it looks like a lamb though. It was purchased in 1982 or 1983 from Hallmark I believe, at least that’s what my mom says.
It is about 6 inches tall with floppy ears and a burgundy Texan style bolo tie and it is sewn into the neck area. She has a bell in her bottom. Please help me find a new Miffy (NOT the Dick Braun Miffy). She’s been my best friend for years, and I would like her back.

FOUND – Carter’s PINK and BLUE PENGUIN with SHINY PINK Vinyl SHOES
The pink penguin has been found, but we still have someone who is looking for the BLUE version of this Carter’s Penguin. Nicole writes:
I’m looking for a Carter’s blue musical penguin for my 17 month old son Liam as a back-up for the now weathered one that he clings to now.
He takes that penguin everywhere with him and chews on it. I’ve tried replacement toys, and I even tried making a similar one, but the first thing Liam does is grab the penguin’s feet, so he knows the difference right away.He’s also really big into throwing things right now. So, I’m afraid he’s going to toss it, and I may not notice one time, and it would be lost.
I don’t think he would mind having either color.
Liz has been working overtime trying to find this penguin for her daughter, and she’s been busy searching for other people’s lost lovies, too. Here’s the email she sent today:
Hi Rosemary – I just wanted to let you know that we have found a Poppy replacement. She’s blue though.My friend Trina was just as vigilant as I was, and somehow she managed to find a website that sells “diaper cakes”. She saw Poppy sitting on one of the cakes. The cake was going for $175.
I wrote to the lady who makes the cakes, explained the situation and offered $75 for Poppy. The owner, Kristen, wrote back and kindly offered to take Poppy off the cake and sell it to me for what she paid for it – $7!!!! The kindness of others is a wonderful thing!!!
We’ve told Krista Poppy must’ve turned blue from swimming in the pool while she was away on vacation. We’re still on the look out for a pink or blue one as a future back up though.

I normally link Poppy right to the cart, but didn’t this one time and now my daughter’s absolutely heart-broken. I’ve revisited IKEA and Home Depot time and time again, when the stores open, to search for Poppy. No luck. I’ve stopped all the employees that I run across and asked them to keep an eye out. I’ve also searched eBay (66 pages worth) with no luck.
Luckily, I have the information from the tag, as I wrote it down and stored away just in case something like this should happen.

Searching – 90′s GUND White SHEEP Named WOLCOTT
I got my “Lambie” when I was around 2, and I’ve loved him ever since. Now, my baby brother was recently born, and I’d love to find him a Lambie of his own (I’d give him mine, but we live in different countries and I couldn’t bear to be without mine!)
Lambie’s real name is “Wolcott”; it may have said it on his hangtag (which is long gone), but it doesn’t have any name on his butt tag. He is made by Gund (more specifically, by Sandra Boynton while she worked for them), and I purchased him around 1995 at a Marshall’s Discount Store, so he may have been made before then.
His body is a white, polyester wool look-alike, while his face is a light tan velour-ish material. His hooves, nose, and ears all use the same velour, but the nose/ears are pink while the hooves (all four) are a greyish-brown. His eyes are plastic, and his mouth is sewn on. He is sitting up, and is roughly 8 inches tall.
From a collector’s website (http://dragonfire1.50megs.com/Boynton/plushgund.htm), I know they also make a Minimals version, which is 4 inches tall. That would be okay, but I would prefer the larger version as it’s more childproof. Ebay had the 4 inch for sale two days ago, but my Google search decided to only show it to me today.
