DISCONTINUED – World Market BROWN VELOUR GIRAFFE with EMBROIDERED EYES
Morris is no longer looking, but Joe is still looking for this giraffe.
I’m looking for a WORLD MARKET 12 inch brown velour giraffe with embroidered eyes. It has a beige muzzle, horns, and hooves. The inside of the ears is pink, and it has brown fuzzy hair and tail.Our grandson that lives with us is very attached to the one that he has. He will not sleep, nap, or do anything else without his giraffe. We are afraid that something will happen to the one that he has, and we will have a rough time until he gets used to not having it around. It is amazing how much he loves his giraffe.
I have tried to find one everywhere and have failed.

FOUND – Toys ‘R Us YELLOW GIRAFFE with ORANGE POLKA DOTS, NOSE, FEET, HORNS, TAIL
I’m looking for a 10 inch Soft Classics Toys ‘R Us giraffe sold through Albertson’s. It’s yellow with orange polka dots.
Our two-year-old daughter became attached to Geoffrey, or “JeJes”, over a year ago and can rarely leave his side for long. The giraffe has been to both coasts of the US and Florida, and even though we’ve done well to keep him, we’d like a backup just in case. He seems to be a rare breed.

This is my daughter’s favorite, and she will not sleep without it. The one she has now is a little ragged.

Searching – 2002 Carter’s PASTEL YELLOW GIRAFFE with SPOTS MUSICAL & HEAD MOVES
Kim is also looking for this giraffe.
I am looking for a Carter’s pastel giraffe that plays music, and its head moves. He’s pale yellow with round patches, and he has a couple of strings hanging off his tail. He has a little silver crank. At one point he played music, and his head slowly moved (which was kind of creepy) I can’t remember what song it played…maybe Twinkle Twinkle???
My nephew got his precious “Camel” as a baby gift seven years ago. He’s in very rough shape right now!
I’ve spent hours trying to find him a new giraffe, with no luck! There are some out there that resemble him, but they just aren’t close enough.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Searching – 2006 Carter’s Just One Year YELLOW MUSICAL GIRAFFE – HEAD TURNS
Help! My two and a half year old grandson lost his “Charlie” on Wednesday before Thanksgiving. It’s a Carter’s Just One Year yellow Hug Me windup giraffe. He played music, and his neck went around in a circle slowly as it played.
My two youngest daughters and I gave him to Tyler just minutes after he was born. My oldest daughter just called yesterday, and she had found “Charlie’s” bit of scalp and some fluff at my mother’s swing set. I think she is as upset as Tyler.
Please, if you know where I can find another “Charlie” you will help three sisters, a Nonna and Tyler.

Searching – 2007 Janie and Jack WHITE GIRAFFE with YELLOW SPOTS
Kristin and Mark are also looking for this giraffe.
We are searching high and low for a Janie and Jack white giraffe with yellow spots.
Our son, Jack, is 19 months old and lights up every time he sees “Mr. Giraffe.” He sleeps with it and uses it for comfort – it even made it through a trip to the ER with our Jack last month.
We are terrified it will get lost, especially when we go to Europe in the Spring.
Please help us find one just like him.

Searching – Sugar Loaf GREEN SPOTTED COW? GIRAFFE?
I have been trying to find a specific stuffed animal, because of an inside joke with my family.
We were on a road trip to Disneyland with my family and friends, and we saw this stuffed animal in the machine. We all wanted to try and get it, so we started trying to get it, and on the first try we got it all the way across the machine and it fell right before getting over the hole. We could never seem to get it. We tried for 30 minutes literally to get this thing and spent a bit of money to try, too. It always fell before getting to the hole.
We could not even figure out what animal it was. We ended up calling it a cow-raffe, because some thought it looked like a cow, and some a giraffe.
We still talk about how bad it was when we could not get it, and we laugh about the story. The friends we are with are coming to visit, and we are trying to find one, so we can give it to them as a visiting gift.

Searching – DanDee GIRAFFE with RATTLE Top Priority
I am looking for a replacement for a DanDee giraffe with rattle. It was given to me as a gift in ’04, when I found out I was pregnant. The girl who bought this said it originally came from Target as a gift card holder. The giraffe is only about 10-12 inches tall. It had a rattle inside, and it used to smell of baby powder.
My son is four years old, and he has had this little giraffe since he was a baby. This is his “lovey”, and an accident did occur last night. My son sleeps with “G” (that is the name we have given him) every night. And he happened to fall out of his bed last night. Our dog must have gone into our son’s room in the night and thought it was a play toy. When we woke we found ‘G” beyond repair. He is missing his whole backside. It used to have a long tail, but that has seen been digested in our dog.
This is something my son adores, and it would be wonderful if there was someone who could help us find the exact same one.

Searching – 2007 Walmart SWEET SAFARI GREEN BLANKIE & SMALL GIRAFFE Top Priority
My first son had a green security blanket from Walmart that came with a small stuffed giraffe, probably only about 6″ tall. The blanket and giraffe meant the world to him. Last year my son passed away from SIDS at the age of 14 months. It was the last thing that he held before he died.
We purchased it in 2007, and I tried to find more, only to find that it was discontinued. It would mean the world to me to find another couple sets of the blanket and especially the giraffe. The giraffe is in the photo, as is the blanket, although it’s harder to see. The brand was “Just Born” from the Sweet Safari collection that was available in 2006/07 from Walmart. The 10 inch square blanket is light green with a little satin trim and a small satin pocket on it. Other than that, there is nothing else on the blanket. The giraffe is just stuffed. No rattle or anything.
I really want the giraffe (or a few of them), as my new little boy is starting to become attached to the remaining one that I have. The one in the photo is in my son’s memory box.

FOUND INFORMATION – 50′s 60′s GEORGE GIRAFFE PILLOW ANIMAL
Thanks to Holly, we now know that this is George the Giraffe, from the 50′s or 60′s. He was sold as a fabric panel pattern, to be cut out, sewn, and stuffed.
I was flea marketing in Indiana with my parents back in September, and I ran across a box of dingy, vintage stuffed animals. I was thrilled, as I love vintage plush!!
The one I especially liked was a bashful-looking giraffe pillow/stuffed animal. He reminded me of a character out of “Raggedy Ann” for some reason, but he was extremely dingy and full of holes!
So I bought him, took him home and gave him a good sink bath, patched him up, and now he looks fresh as a daisy! I even put little bows on his ears and tail! I decided to name him Burdorf (like the furniture store LOL). I know, I know, I love stuffed animals too much LOL!
Anyway, what I was wondering is, where do you suppose Burdorf came from? To look at him, you’d think he was sewn from some kind of pattern. At least that’s what I think. I’d extrapolate that he dates back to the seventies at the very latest. He looks rather cartoonish, but I don’t think he was from a TV show/movie or anything. And he’s not a Raggedy Ann character, even though he reminded me of one (I’m probably the only teenager who’s into Raggedy Ann LOL!). But I was wondering what you thought about it!

Searching – LARGE YELLOW GIRAFFE BLANKIE with ORANGE TRIM
I’m looking for a blankie. I don’t know what company makes the blankie, but it is large (about the size of a receiving blanket) and yellow with orange trim. One corner has a giraffe head.
Campbell’s giraffe blankie went with him everywhere. On the weekend we went to a small museum, and I think that when we got out of the car he dropped it, and I didn’t notice. My husband and I drove to the museum 4 times in 2 days looking for the blankie, but no luck.
I have searched high and low for a replacement, but can’t find one. Cam has cried and cried for his blankie. The first night was the worst. He wouldn’t sleep at all, so we were up all night rocking him and trying to sooth him.
If anyone can help I would be so grateful!

My daughter has a blue and white giraffe that was given to her from Babystyle, which has since gone out of business. It’s about 8 inches tall. We have lost the giraffe and thankfully found it several times, but I am petrified that we may lose it and never find it.
It will be a disaster, since she can not do anything without this giraffe. Can anyone please help.

I’m looking for a replacement for my 2 year old son’s security blanket. He has gotten extremely attached to it and won’t go anywhere without it. My biggest fear is that he may lose his precious friend, and that would break my heart.
It is Carter’s Just One Year blankie with yellow velour on the front side and yellow satin on the back side with light green trim. It has a plush giraffe rattle attached. It has embroidered stars and says “Hug Me”.

Searching – 80′s PlaySkool SNUZZLES Blankies GIRAFFE
When I was 6 months old my mom bought me a Playskool Blankies giraffe. It is made of plaid pastel baby colors, with satin mane, tail, and bottoms of the feet, and inside the ears. It had big blue eyes, and antennae that are tied into knots on the end. I carried him EVERYWHERE with me as a child.
I’m 21 now, and he is not in very good shape. At all. In fact he looks nothing like he once did. He has had to be patched up so many times, with 3 different types of fabrics, so he’s not even the original color anymore. He’s just all blue, haha.
I’d love to find another one, mostly for the sentimentality of it. Also, I like the idea of giving my first child the same lovey I had. If anyone knows where I could get one, I’d be so grateful!

My 4 year old has lost her beloved pink spotted giraffe and is left with only the blue spotted giraffe.
We bought two (1 pink and 1 blue) at ***Burlington Coat Factory*** and they have no labels on them!! I have searched every BCF and can’t find anymore!! He used to have a lot of stuffing but is now pretty flat. It’s approximately 16 inches long. We bought a pink spotted Giraffe just like this blue spotted one from Burlington Coat Factory in 2006 and have never been able to figure out the maker/producer and can no longer find it at BCF stores.
The pink spotted one is lost and we would love a replacement or to buy someone’s gently used giraffe (please send pic!!).
