Searching – 1985 Applause Precious Moments WHITE & PINK RABBIT

Wanda’s story gives such a powerful voice to the emotional trauma of childhood bullying that I hope you share it.
I’m looking for a Snowball 1985 Precious Moments by Applause plush white rabbit. It has the pink satin feet, and pink inside the ears, and a pink satin covered nose and has tear drop shaped eyes. She wore a plastic pink heart locket around her neck that said on the inside “Some Bunny Cares”.
This bunny was very special to me, because as a child, I was bullied in school because of being extremely shy, and the other kids thought I was weird. I had no friends except for my cats, and my plush animals. Whenever I was in school, being tormented, I couldn’t wait to get home to play with my “friends”.
When I first saw the bunny in a Hallmark store back then, it was love at first site. The locket’s message “Some Bunny Cares” meant so much to me. I wanted so much at that time for someone to care. I think it was over $20.00 back then, and my mom almost didn’t get her for me. But she finally bought her for me for Easter. My mom knew what I was going through, and that there was nothing she could do about it, so I think that’s why she gave in.
We had pajama day at school that year, and I took my bunny that day. I remember being laughed at for bringing a toy, even though some of the other girls had pacifiers hanging around their necks of all things. The bunny was taken from me and thrown back and forth. I started crying, not just because of my beloved bunny, but mostly because I was being tormented once again. That just made them laugh even more, because I was acting like a “baby” who had their toy taken away. I did get her back, and cried myself to sleep that night.
I would just like to have my old friend back. It would be nice to have her near. The scars from my past are still with me, so I would like to have some of the nicer things with me as well.
Sorry for such a long post. If anyone knows where I can find one of these bunnies, I would appreciate it.

I received one when I was a baby. I am 26 years old now, and still sleep with her every night. My son loves to sleep with her now, and he is about to have his first birthday. I would love to get him his own one.

Searching – 1998 Applause PRECIOUS MOMENTS LOVE IS SHARING DOLL in BLUE

Scott and Ashley are each looking for a 1998 PRECIOUS MOMENTS blond baby doll with LOVE IS SHARING printed in a white heart on a blue terry sleeper. She’s wearing a matching bonnet with white eyelet trim.
Scott’s daughter is very fond of that doll, and it has seen better days and they looking for her twin. And Ashley wrote about the same time Scott did, looking for this same doll. She writes, “I have been looking for this doll for a long time now, and I really love these dolls.”

I’m looking for a DAKIN 1995 No. 66230 Precious Moments AVON blond baby doll wearing a pink terry sleeper and bonnet with white eyelet trim.
I been looking for another doll like this my whole entire life. I love Precious Moments dolls, and I would do anything to have one! I have one just like this, but sadly its extremely worn out.

Searching – 80′s Applause Precious Moments SNOWBALL WHITE & PINK RABBIT with HEART
I’m looking for an 80′s Applause Precious Moments white rabbit named Snowball with pink satin ears and feet. There’s a pink plastic heart attached at the neck.
This bunny was the very first stuffed animal given to me at birth. I lost it when I was 12 years old and was very devastated.
I have searched for it with unsuccessful results over the years. I would love to find it somehow. I found one post on etsy.com selling it, but I was too late. Any help would be most appreciated.

FOUND – 1985 APPLAUSE Precious Moments WHITE & PINK RABBIT
We helped Lana find one, but we still have a mailing list of people looking for this rabbit.
Some babies have pacifiers, ours had ”Bunny.” This was not supposed to have been a lovey and was simply a decoration in our newborn’s room, as I had an entire collection of Precious Moments on display in her room. However one day she pointed to it, and we made the mistake of handing it to her. We have not gotten it back.
18 months later, Bunny is getting worn being run through the washer every week, since our daughter takes her EVERYWHERE. The silk nose has worn off, along with the silk ears. We are searching for a replacement now for when bunny doesn’t survive another wash or gets left or lost someplace.

DISCONTINUED – 1998 Precious Moments BLOND LOVE IS SHARING DOLL in PINK with BONNET
Joanne’s email address is no longer valid, but Mishi is still looking for the PINK version of this doll, and Ashley and Scott are still looking for this BLUE version.
My daughter adopted hers in 2001, after her sister received it as a gift in June, 2000. I replaced it once on a Christmas Eve (2006) without her knowing. She woke Christmas morning thinking Santa had “fixed” Molly (her doll). Molly is now needing a new facelift again, and I saw your blue boy. I once purchased what I thought was a new Molly, only to find out that she didn’t have the “Love Is Sharing” badge on her chest, and her hair snippet was not painted on, but an actual piece of hair (polyester?).
If you can help me find “Molly”, Amy will think Santa is still out there (she still believes, and she is 9 years old … :~D … )

Searching – Precious Moments PINK DOLL Gown Shaped BLANKIE with BONNET
I’m looking for an Applause 26 inch gown shaped plush comfy blankie by PRECIOUS MOMENTS. It has the head and arms of the doll with a screen print face. She’s wearing a print flannel bonnet, and there’s a pink satin heart on the blankie and pink satin binding at the bottom.
This is for my daughter. She is EXTREMELY attached to hers, and it is falling apart. She has had it since she was born, and now we fear it is lost. It is possible that someone threw it out accidentally. She is DEVASTATED. We even contacted the landfill – but that was useless. HELP.

Searching – 70′s? 80′s? Applause? PRECIOUS MOMENTS? Sad GRAY MOUSE

I lost my best friend, Mousie when I was 14. He was a gray stuffed mouse (maybe by Applause?,) but what made him original was that he had a frown. His eyes looked like the “Precious Moments” type eyes. He was around 14 inches long. He had a “bear type” body meaning arms and legs that extended from his body, and I believe he had a long tail.
The edited photo looks a bit like the real Mousie. His head sat more on his body like he didn’t have much of a neck (if any), and he had a frown with another tiny frown shaped line under his mouth (like a kid when they pucker up their chin). The pink material in his ears was like bed sheet feeling.
His widow’s peak hair was wider and the point of it was closer to his eyes. And his eyes were so much like the Precious moment character’s eyes – I am wondering if he was not from their line? He was the only boy mouse and the only gray mouse in the whole bin. We got him from Gold Circle. He was in a free standing square shaped bin and he was the only one. The girl mice were brown, and they had on a pinafore and a bow and they smiled. He never had clothes. I have tried to find him for sooooo long…
I had a bad childhood, but he was my best friend through it all. Recently, I came across the ONLY photo I have of him, and I started crying. I haven’t seen him for 20 years. It may seem silly since I am 34, but it tugged on my heart to see the glimpse shot I have of him. I have tried to recreate an image of him from this photo (for my hubby and bff – to keep an eye out at garage sales).
I would love it if someone had him.

My first grandbaby was born in July, 2007, and I originally found this baby doll on eBay. Well, I had her monogrammed and put on a diaper cake that I had made for my daughter’s baby shower.
Now, 17 months later, that doll is my grandbaby’s security baby. She takes her with her everywhere. She sleeps with her, you name it, that is her baby Lila (which is her name).
I would love to be able to put the original up for safe keeping and have a spare for her to mess up all she wants. I truly appreciate all of your help in helping me find another baby Lila.

FOUND – PRECIOUS MOMENTS White RABBIT Wearing a PINK OUTFIT
The Precious Moments white bunny I am looking for is a stuffed rabbit doll wearing a pink sleepy hat and a sleepy coat. It was purchased at Walmart 8 years ago.
My daughter has loved her all that time and has never spent a night away from her. Sleepy hat is gone as well as sleepy coat. The bunny can’t hold his neck up anymore. I would like to surprise her with a new or gently used one when she’s older.

I don’t have any photos, sadly. I’ve been able to find his bear companion from the same year, “Cubby”, on eBay, but no bunny. If I’m correct, this was the first year that Applause partnered with Precious Moments to make plush animals. The bunny and the bear came with a pink Precious Moments heart necklace that opened and each had a saying.
I lost it when I was a little girl and would love to be reunited. Any ideas?
