Pat is looking for a doll that is similar to this photo, but hers was not curled up and her eyes looked straight ahead.
[pinit] Hi Rosemary,
Thank you in advance for any help you might be able to offer as I search for a doll I was given about 1953 from my grandparents in Texas. My childhood was very unstable, and I suspect that I was given this to comfort me after I had to leave my beloved grandparents. This was one of three dolls I ever owned. My baby was long ago sold in a garage sale or thrown away by a caregiver.
I would love to purchase a replacement, or just have a photo, even though I’m now a 60 year old grandmother.
• Plush Doll
• May have been an Eden
• Hard plastic faced
• Dressed in soft pink bunting (not terry and not chenille)
• Could have had short, yellow, yarn bangs but those may have been painted on
• Not musical
Thank you so much for your help.
