  1. I have great success with washing plush toys, even ones with pellets.

Just put the item in a mesh laundry bag with a zipper closure. I think the delicate cycle is best, my machine doesn't have one, never seems to be a problem though.

    I hope that helps ๐Ÿ™‚

Build-a-Bear makes a stuffed animal cleaner, it's in a spray bottle. You can get it at their stores or on their website. This stuff is Wonderul!! You can spot clean or use a good bit and really clean it all over. Not terribly expensive at about $6 a bottle and it last a while.
    Good Luck:)

  3. We usually spot clean with SHOUT and wash all over with mild dish detergent, then towel dry, and air dry on a rack over a heating/AC vent. Some toys actually do better machine washed and dried, however. Just be sure to tie it up in a pillow case.

We've had success washing beanies before, but ours were in excellent condition to begin with. That does make a difference.

  4. good point DB, if an item is in fragile condition from excessive love, then I would not put in the washer either ๐Ÿ™‚

  5. Thank you all for your insight! I will try your suggestions while the search continues. ๐Ÿ™‚
