My 2-year-old daughter, Nora, lost the tiny doll she had named after herself (she named it Eleanor, which is her full name) while we were out running errands. I called all the stores we went to, and went back and searched the craft store myself, aisle by aisle, where I thought she probably dropped it. I am afraid little Eleanor is gone for good, and Nora is devastated.
Eleanor was a gift, and I wish I had paid more attention to her details or taken a photo. I am almost sure she was made by Carter’s, but I can’t find an exact match in your catalog photos. She was very tiny–about 4 inches tall–with blond yarn hair in braided pigtails (not looped). I think she had yarn bangs as well, rather than the velour hair. Eleanor had on bunny slippers, but also some kind of dress or nightgown–not the sleepers/jammies that a lot of your dolls with the bunny slippers are pictured in. Nora says her dress was blue, but I have to admit I don’t really remember. It might have had an apron or pinafore over the dress.
Does this sound familiar at all? Have you seen a doll like that? Thank you so much for providing this service to anxious parents with sad toddlers!!
