I’m looking for a VERY bright yellow nylon sitting elephant that was put out in the 1980’s. It was NOT a Fisher-Price Puffalump elephant, but was, as I recall, put out by one of the very nice and well-known toy companies, like RUSS or GUND. It had–I believe– some gathering on the chest tummy area, a REALLY cute expression, and as I said, was a VERY bright yellow. The elephant was good size– probably 18″-20″ high.

At the time, I was young and was not able to buy it, as it was over thirty dollars (it was a large size, but not huge). By the time I had enough money to buy it, The Drug Store in Iron Mountain, MI had sold all three that they had and said they could not order any more.

I never forgot it, and have been looking– and searching– for one ever since.
