Searching – Carter’s Prestige #39822 Chenille TAN Lying Down LION with BROWN MANE & TAIL
My son has a Carter’s tan with brown mane and tail lion that was bought from Kohl’s Dept Store in May, 2009, and he worships it. The tag said PO # 10837 and Style #39822 and was made by Prestige Toy Corp. for Carter’s. He is approximately 11-12 inches long and has bean bags in his feet.
I am worried, because I only have one and fear losing it. I would love to find a back-up one.

Thank you for the information. Unfortunatley, this is a newer version of the lion and the tail is different where it does not have a fury tip, and that is the part my son plays with to fall asleep. The older version I have does not have a velvet mane or feet but same chenille material as the rest of him but in brown on mane and feet. I wish I could substitute but he won’t.
I am having the same exact problem! My 1 1/2 year old daughter loves her lion and I am so worried she will ruin/lose it. If you have had any luck, I would love some advice. Thanks.
I happened to find one that looked right on eBay and sent the link to Tricia and Amanda. Amanda wrote back to say she had bought it, so Tricia still needs one!
My 2 year old daughter LOVES her “Yayi” and cannot sleep without him. I have been desperately looking for another one just in case. I would love to know if anyone has had any luck finding this lion. Thank you!
