, Searching – 1987 NABCO BROWN Shaggy Floppy DOG Named WRAGGLESI am looking for my best (stuffed) friend from childhood that was lost years ago.

His name is Wraggles (on his tush tag), and he was made by the North American Bear Co, and I’m 98% sure the year was 1987. He is a dog…brown and scruffy looking (his hair is big and scraggly, if that makes sense). Most people didn’t think he looked like a dog at all. I would say he is about 12 -18 inches tall, and as you can see in the picture he is kind of floppy-there wasn’t much stuffing to him.

I really hope you can help me. He meant the world to me, and it would mean so much to replace him.

    Did you ever find your Wraggles? Your link just popped up while I was searching for a Wraggles for my daughter. I like you had a best fried as a child named “Wrassle” but in the back of my mind I remembered that his “real” name was Wraggles. I’ve had him as long as I can remember and loved him to baldness. It’s so crazy seeing that someone else had one. I’m sorry if you never found your old pal. I do still have my Wrassle, and to this day, would be absolutely devastated if anything happened to him.

  3. Hi, I have this wraggles apprx. 16″, along with a larger one 20″ to 24″ The larger one has wraggles and the date of 1989. Both still have the red and white gingham ribbon on them. I bought them both at the same time. Please let me know if you are still looking. POST CODE #17078
