DISCONTINUED – Fisher Price SLUMBER BABIES PINK RABBIT + WHITE BEAR Top Priority
We have a mailing list of people searching for the various Slumber Babies.
I’m looking for a 1989 Fisher Price Slumber Babies rabbit doll in an aqua print pink outfit with aqua bunny ears, and aqua binding on the hood and feet and also the white bear Slumber Babies.
I am a survivor of extreme, horrific abuse. I was once part of a support group, and one of my friends had the pink Slumber Baby. I loved it, so I went out to buy them all. I was able to buy the yellow and white ones. I once gave the white one to someone is distress, and she was supposed to return it by mail. That never happened. I still have the yellow one.
I’ve experienced significant healing, though some of the deepest core pain remains. When I am hurting and afraid, I like to hold my Slumber Baby. In so doing, I feel I am offering comfort to myself in a very real way, i.e., holding my Inner Child, if you will.
I named her Gertrude. They were each Gertrude–Yellow Gertrude and White Gertrude. And any other dolls I am able to purchase, Slumber Babies, or other soft dollies, would also be named Gertrude!
Thanks,
Stephanie If you can help Stephanie find the Fisher Price Slumber Babies Pink Rabbit AND White Bear, THIS SEARCH REQUEST IS NO LONGER ACTIVELY MANAGED. Please use Our FREE FACEBOOK GROUP, including the POST CODE #17556,

Hi Stephanie, I just found the yellow one on this site. If you contact Rosemary re Catalog No. 10ASD061310-10 she will be able to tell you if she still has it. Goodluck. ๐
Sorry, just noticed you already have the yellow one. There is a pink SLumber Baby Doll on ebay Item No. 160416518761 but is looks quite used and is US $49.99.
Thank you, Brenda! I should have mentioned within my story that I am disabled and of very limited income. I could go as high as $30 but no more. If worst comes to worst, I will just look for other suitable dollies. I see a lot of them here from other companies such as Carter, Eden, etc. I love the soft dollies that are good for babies. ๐
Good to know Stephanie, we will just keep looking for you – the one on Ebay seemed over priced for the condition. ๐ And as you say there are plenty of alternatives on this site – Rosemary has an amazing site and does a wonderful job – she must be a very special lady.
You make me blush!
Thanks again, Brenda, for keeping me in mind. And I agree about Rosemary and the site. Sorry, Rosemary. You’ll have to blush a little more! ๐
I do have limited funds, but as soon as I can, I want to purchase a dolly. And I’ll purchase at least one a month for awhile!
Hi. Just wanted to let you know that I have the yellow one in my ebay store, currently on sale for $17.99.

Hi, Lorrie!
I appreciate this! However, I mentioned that I’m looking for the pink and white ones, not yellow because I already have that one. Thanks for thinking of me! ๐

Hey, I have a similar story. When I was very young I had three of the pink Slumber Babies and I just found out what they are today. I never knew what they were called. I received one as a gift when I was born. Due to the amount of traveling we did when I was a child (Army brat), one was accidentally left at a hotel. I could not sleep without “Baby.” My mother bought another and I named her “New Baby.” The next time I saw my grandfather, he also had one for me. New Baby became “Old Baby” and the one my grandfather gave me became “New Baby.” Strangely enough, I could tell them apart. Old Baby had a distinct look and I could not sleep without her under my head. One day, while I was on a run with my mother (I was in the stroller), I dropped Old Baby somewhere on the route. My mother and I looked for her for what seemed like hours. I was so devastated. My mother comforted me by deeming New Baby as the new “Old Baby.” It took me a long time to get used to it and the story is actually kind of depressing because they were my favorite toys. I still have my newest Old Baby and I am now 22 years old. I like to think each of my Babies was picked up by a little girl and was loved as much as I loved them.
im looking for a set of them as low of a price as possible. im 23 and have rubbed the hands off my last 2 surviving ‘tickle babies’ i call them just found out tonight that they are actually called slumber babies. haha my mom is wanting to get them for me for christmas and now my daughter wants one too. its my comfort tool that i cant survive without, ive had mine since i was 6 months old.. worn through my first white one, then it was replaced. i gave the pink one to a 6 month old baby when i was pregnant because she was neglected and needed comfort so i taught her to tickle her fingers as i do. my replaced white one was caught on fire by accident when my daughter was 2 and throwing it near lit candle. my mom repaired it, but its gotten lost in the move when i got evicted, and lastly my yellow one is literally falling apart, and its in my hands rubbing my fingers as i type. im so glad and relieved there are more in the world. i wouldnt have made it thru my abuse and teen years, my pregnancy, or my most lonely & depressed moments. people laugh at me for having it, but to each his own. i really love my tickle babies. =) hope to have new ones soon, so my poor yellow one can retire gracefully … let me know about SETS or if cant find the sets, i want prices on all individually. thank you so much – misty
EBAY (PINK) ITEM NUMBER 151065860612 $59.99.
Thanks, Brenda. Sent to the mailing list and specifically to Misty.
Does anyone know if there are more out there still? I’m 25 yrs old and still sleep with my white slumber baby bear. Today I finally realized what’s on my baby’s face, it’s either mold or mildew :(. She is a HUGE comfort and anxiety reliever. I’ve suffered from anxiety since I can remember and she has always been there for me. I really don’t ever plan on stopping sleeping with her. But she is worn and I do fear either losing her, someone doing something to her or just getting too old. Her silky hands are starting to fall apart. Not terribly bad but a little bit. After 25 yrs that’s not bad but considering I’ve lived “1/4” of my life, if I live to 100 lol, then she’s got a LONG ways to go! I just found out that she’s a slumber baby, I never knew what she was. Please help me!!!

Krissy: You can wash her in the washing machine and put her in the dryer. I’ve washed mine. Should be a front loader, though. I did it at the Laundromat. She came out good as new! You may be able to pre-treat the stain. I have a yellow one. I named her Gertrude, and I’ve had her since the early 90’s! ๐

Hi Stephanie,
I lost my Slumber Baby White bear last year, and it is the first time I found it on the Internet since then. Though I cannot find any website selling it under $89 and as I am located in France I am not sure to be able to pay that much…
Maybe you could help me finding it somewhere ?
Thanks a lot !
