FOUND – 2008 Koala Baby GREEN STEGOSAURUS with BLUE SPOTS & SPIKES

I’m looking for a pale green and blue Stegosaurus dinosaur with blue spots and spikes, made by Koala Baby, which is sold by Toys R Us and Babies R Us. It was given to him when he was first born almost 2 years ago.
On Christmas Eve my sister and her family went to church, and my 1 and a half year old nephew brought his dinosaur toy with him (as usual). They left him on the pew as they went up for communion, and after the service had ended they noticed he was gone. They searched the entire church, and the family has been looking online as well for a replacement. We think someone may have taken it by accident, thinking it was theirs. Either way, my nephew is heartbroken without it and has been calling for the toy (he calls it ”Dido”) night and day.
We have contacted Babies R Us, put up flyers, and searched as many websites as possible, but nothing has come through. The closest thing we could find was a positive product review on the toy done in 2008. We would all be SO happy if we could find ”Dido” again! It’s like Linus and his blanket!! My nephew just will NOT quit asking for this toy, and nothing similar we’ve tried to replace it with has worked.

He’s autistic and is very sad that he doesn’t have Dino to sleep with. He lost it At Macy’s in New Orleans yesterday, 1/2/11. We drove back today in search of it, but had no luck. Dino is very worn (missing one eye).I do hope you find “Dido”,we know the pain you are feeling. If you are able to find a replacement, would you please let me know. We would love to be able to give Nathaniel a new “Dino”.

Oh no! The same dino lost?? I guess it’s something special if your son and my nephew are so very lost with out it! I’ll let you know if I ever find anything. Please do the same. My nephew had chewed up the tail himself, haha, so your missing eye is understood. Best of luck!

GREAT NEWS!! Just a few days ago we found my nephew’s dino on Ebay!! We bought it. I saw some more on Ebay so Leah, you have GOT to do the “buy it now” option. You don’t even want to know what we paid on the “buy it now” for our dino, but it was worth the smile on my nephew’s face!! Thank you everyone for helping us search for him!!!
