FOUND – KenTex PILLOW PAL Wide TIGER Top Priority
I’m looking for a KenTex Pillow Pal plush tiger that is wide and kind of flat and about the size of a bed pillow. I got this tiger in September of 2000 from a bx (Air Force store). The white fuzz that starts in his ears used to be a lot fluffier than it looks in the photo.
Earlier that same month I had turned in someone in my family for sexually abusing me. Even though I was a teenager when the tiger was purchased, he brought me untold comfort. I slept with him every night. When my oldest child was born, I passed him on to her. She slept with him every night until her little sister was old enough to move out of the crib. Now little sister sleeps with him every night.
”Big Tiger” or sometimes just ”Tiger”, is not an IT to us. He is a HE. And he has been through a lot. I’ve had to sew his neck up at least twice and have added untold amounts of new stuffing. We refuse to part with him. I would love nothing more than to have a second one, so my oldest can again sleep with her buddy every night. She knows she can’t have the original back, because he’s acting as a buffer to keep little sister from falling out of bed. They share a room by the way.
It would do me a lot of good to know that both girls have a Tiger to protect their sleep.

I know it’s not your Tiger but may Cow can be a friend or cousin. This line of pillow pets is proving to be VERY difficult to find.

Thanks…but I don’t think it’ll work for us.
I would settle for a tiger with a similar face/stripes if there is one out there that is not HUGE. The only similar ones I’ve found are big enough to sleep on…tiger is more like a pillow.

I have ordered the cheetah/leopard linked above. When he arrives I will make sure this listing gets that all important “FOUND” in front of it. I told my oldest that I was looking for some old style polly pockets and just stumbled across the picture and wanted her to see it because it’s similar to Tiger. She got all excited and said that little sis would want that one (because it’d be newer)and she could have “her” Tiger back. She doesn’t know I actually ordered it.
So Little will probably get Leopard and Big will probably get Tiger. And Mom will get all teary eyed. And Dad will get the bill. 🙂

Thank you so much for remembering me. My girls (and I) are happy with Tiger and his “little brother” Cheetah. Big Sister likes that they are different so she knows who came first. Little sister likes having the newer of the two.
