FOUND – 70’s Eden YELLOW YOU ARE MY SUNSHINE ELEPHANT
Cindy had her own elephant restored at Hanna Bruce’s Bears and Teddy Hospital. But we still a mailing list of people looking for the yellow and also for the blue version of this elephant.
I am trying to find one of the vintage 70’s Eden elephants in yellow that plays “You Are My Sunshine”. Its head rotated, and it had a wind up music box inside. It stood about five inches tall.
I actually have one. It is 30 years old and belonged to my daughter. It was her favorite toy for years. I am trying to find another one to replace it, because this one no longer plays. The music box is broken.
This was a gift to me when I was pregnant with my first child. After a long, long journey trying to conceive, I lost my first child. The friend who purchased it for me saved it and gave it to me when I had my daughter several years later. It is very precious to me.
My daughter is having our first grandchild this summer, and I am trying to find another one or figure out how to repair this one for my soon to be granddaughter.
Thanks,
Cindy

I sent the link to the mailing list, but warned them to ask questions, since there’s no description to indicate if it works or not and the photo colors are a little odd.
Thanks, as always, Susan!!
That is a very good point Rosemary. I have noticed a lot of Ebay Sellers are doing less descriptions. It is a good reminder to buyers to be sure to ask any questions so you know exactly what you are getting.

Thanks, Chiara. I’ve notified the mailing list, although I don’t know if anyone would want one that doesn’t work. The other one I’ve already written them about, but at the higher price. There’s no indication if it’s working or not, though.
