Do You Know a Child with a PORT Who NEEDS This Doll??

This little 10 inch dark skinned doll is a Shadow Buddy originally created by the Shadow Buddies Foundation. The dolls they create are meant to comfort and teach children with diseases how to cope with their medical issues.
This is a firmly stuffed but soft doll, with hearts for eyes, red cheeks, and a big smile. It has black yarn hair. You can see the tummy button drawn on the body in the photo of the port.
This particular doll has a Childhood Leukemia Foundation tattoo on the leg, and is appropriate for a child who has a port. This doll actually has a small plastic port in the chest. A port is used to make it easier to deliver IV medication, such as chemotherapy, without having to constantly stick a sick child.
There is a loose seam where one of the legs joins the body that could be very easily repaired, but otherwise it’s in excellent condition.
This doll is available in our Plush Memories Lovie Shoppe with a coupon code in the description for half the s/h cost only.
If you don’t know anyone who could use this doll, you probably know of a child who is dealing with some other medical issue. The Shadow Buddies Foundation sells many dolls appropriate for children of any skin color who are dealing with all kinds of medical problems.
If you know someone who has a real need for this Shadow Buddies Oncology African American Soft Doll, please send them the link to the one we have in our store.
