Are You Christmas Shopping Yet?
OK, I know it’s just August, but several of the venues we used to sell on were already having Christmas in July and Countdown to Christmas Sales.
So how do you feel about this? Do you shop all year ’round, and keep a “gift closet”?
Do you wait ’til the last minute?
Or are you somewhere in between?
Since over the years we sold quite a few stuffed animals and soft dolls, plus a lot of vintage collectibles, we have seen lots of plan ahead shoppers and lots of last minute shoppers, too. One Christmas we even shipped a stuffed animal over-night to arrive on Christmas Day! But that’s another story, I’ll tell another time.
So, have you started your Christmas shopping already?

I’ve started – and typically shop all year long. I put it all in a variety of places in case the snoops locate something – they don’t find everything!
I’ll still be shopping when it comes close also – as that’s when the “oh…I wish I put xxx on my list” is stated.
Love it, every year do the same thing and always have too much!!!
Oh, you bring back memories of one Christmas when I snooped and found all my presents. It spoiled it for me so badly that I never tried to find them again.

I’m sure that a lot of folks agree with you, clublint, that last minute shopping is just part of their holiday ritual. Personally, I would find it way too stressful.
