Searching – 80′s Green PUFFALUMP ELEPHANT with Sailor Collar

I’m looking for a Puffalump type elephant with white collar from the 80′s. I believe it was manufactured by a company called C&H Co.
My daughter had Ellie from the time she was small until she was in High school. Ellie is a little green pufflalump style elephant with a white sailor collar. She slept with her every night and took her everywhere with her. She even snuck it in her suitcase when she went on school trips. We fixed boo-boos and had baths. Although the first time I washed her, my daughter cried and said I’d washed all the love out. She put it back in I guess.
I don’t really know what ultimately happened to her little green friend. My daughter is now grown with her own children. She’s getting ready to go to South Africa on a missionary trip and I was trying to think of something she could take with her, so she wouldn’t feel so alone and the nights seem so long while she is away from her family and friends. Somehow Ellie popped in my mind and seemed like the natural choice. Maybe it’s a silly idea and is certainly a long shot. Maybe a part is for me too, wanting her to have a piece of home that will carry my love with her and keep her safe.

Hey Kathy!
I you have been looking for Ellie online. My dog just recently ate her and I have been heartbroken ever since. I am 24 now and have literally had her for my whole life! My mother bought her just before I was born in 88′. I was wondering if you have had any luck Finding a new Ellie… Call me crazy but I have had issues sleeping ever since the incident.
