This plush koala was made in 1989 by Galoob, one in a series of plush animals called Lost N Founds. He is about 11″ tall and originally came with a small pink bottle. When you gave him the bottle of water, the fluid went up to his eyes and flowed out, so that it looked like he was crying. The whole series was adorable!

The story is simple: my daughter had one many years ago, and it was well loved. I gave it to her for Christmas one year, and we both loved his big sad eyes. Great bedtime memories with this plush. My daughter is now grown, and somewhere thru the years and the moves, he went missing. I would have bet my life that he was at least in our storage bins, but we cannot find him anywhere. My daughter would like to replace him with one in good condition, even if he doesn’t have his bottle anymore. We are so sad that he is lost!
