Thanks to one of our Fabulous Finders, Sylvia has found a set of translucent Clackers, but she really wants to find a BLUE pair.

Please Note: The string must go all the way through the balls, ending in a knot at the underside of each ball.

I’m looking for a set of blue original vintage Clackers from the 70’s. They were two translucent balls with a string through the middle of each ball and a plastic ring in the middle of the top of the string.

I just remember how much I liked them (even with bruises on my arms) and would love to have a set for nostalgia reasons.

  2. Thanks, Tami, unfortunately the ones on the timewarp site do not have the sting going all the way through. They are some variant that has the end of the string embedded in the middle of the ball. It is not what I am seeking, that is why I was so specific about describing the string going all the way through. I didn't know it was illegal to sell them on eBay, thanks for letting me know.

  3. It's illegal to sell them on eBay, because they were recalled as being unsafe. And I really loved playing with them as a kid. 🙁

    I have a vintage pair. The string goes thru them, ending right inside the ball, not a knot on the outside. I sent Rosemary a email that she can forward to you. Let me know if you are interested.

  7. #011010-3 I have a pair in great shape, but they are green translucent, and yes the string goes all the way through and is knotted.
