Kimberly has decided to get the new electronic version of the cookie eating Cookie Monster, but we still have a mailing list mostly of teachers looking for this Cookie Monster to use with their students.


, DISCONTINUED &#8211; Large Puffalump COOKIE MONSTER with RED BACKPACK Eats <i>Top Priority</i>I’m looking for a Puffalump Cookie Monster with a back pack. Covered in his characteristic deep blue Puffalump type fabric, this Sesame Street fellow has a huge black mouth and large white eyeballs sticking up on top of his head. This Cookie Monster has soft googly eyes, not the hard plastic eyes he usually has. He even has a tummy button, he’s so well made! He’s about 16″ long and about 12″ wide.

You can put objects in his mouth and…they end up in the backpack! I am a speech-therapist for toddlers and would love to use this Cookie Monster for pretend play, because you can feed him.

I have searched for other stuffed animals that you can ”feed” but have not had success. Please contact if you have any suggestions of other animals!

  1. Hello. There are 4 of these puffalump style ones on ebay right now (All made by Playskool)but they do not have backpacks so I am not sure that you can feed them. But Maybe you could use one of these to create/make your own?

  4. Thank you for all of your help and suggestions.I checked Ebay the same day that I posted to Plush Memories and could not find him, but I will look up the items that have been suggested. I did buy the Hungry Pelican off Ebay, but every toddler loves and recognizes Cookie Monster! I do look forward to the new one that comes out in the fall. Thank for taking the time to reply to my post, and I am still interested if anyone finds this treasure! 🙂
