Searching – RUSS Yellow Giraffe / Corduroy inside Ears, Bottom of Feet & Antlers

I’m desperately searching for a replacement for a beloved toy that is lost. He was a pale yellow giraffe from Russ with a rattle in his bottom. He was approx. 15 inches tall and had pink corduroy inside his ears and yellow corduroy on the bottom of his feet and also on his antlers.

If anyone has anything that sounds like this, PLEASE take the time to comment or email.

My son had him his whole nine years and it has enormous sentimental value. So far I have been able to put him off by saying I haven’t unpacked him yet….but I know he was lost in the move.

  4. Hi, wager witch! Yes, we do a thorough search of the Internet before we post these requests. Sometimes the requests never even make it to the blog, because we find the lovey somewhere online. But that doesn’t happen very often.

    It’s a shame, but these companies change the toys every few years ever so slightly, so they have a “new” toy, retiring the old version. That makes it awfully hard to find a replacement, sometimes.

    And most children won’t accept a substitute lovey unless it’s exactly like the one that’s missing. Or, as in the case of this nine year old, what would be the point?
