FOUND One, but Still Searching – Silky Pig Head Baby Rattle 1970’s? 80’s?
I am looking for a toy from the late 1970’s to early 1980’s.
It was a stuffed pig head with silky ears and nose. It had a hole through the side, so you could hang on to it, and it rattled. It also came in an elephant, a dog, and a few other animals.
I am not sure if it was made by Fisher Price or Playskool. (We now know, thanks to our Anonymous blogger friend, that it’s a Fisher Price toy.)
Thanks to Cat Jane, Mindy has found her Animal Grabber. Now we need to find another pig grabber for another reader that I haven’t been able to find in my files yet, plus the dog grabber for JOHN!
If you can help JOHN find this vintage pig rattle, or one of the other animal grabbers – THIS SEARCH REQUEST IS NO LONGER ACTIVELY MANAGED. Please use Our FREE FACEBOOK GROUP, including #053006 in the subject,.

This rattle was called a Fisher Price Animal grabber. #437 was the number on the tag, made 1979 to 1984. Sorry I don’t have a picture.
Wow! Thank you so much for the information! I was`able to find a picture with all that good info, and I’ve emailed Mindy. If she says it’s the right one, I’ll add it to the post, thanks to you.

Hello there! I can not believe you have all had luck finding these grabbers. That i amazing! I have been searching for years to replace mine for my daughter. If there is any more information or if anyone knows of any of the animals (but most preferably the pig) I would be extremely indebted. We have had moments where the pig grabber #437 is necessary to remain balance in our household! lol
Please please any information would be appreciated.
Thank you so much and happy holidays!
