Searching – INFORMATION about LARGE Vintage GUND Rabbit Doll
I have found a Gund Rabbit. She is obviously vintage, but I haven’t been able to find out anything about her.
I’d like to know what her name is and how old she is, and anything else someone can tell me about her.
She is right at 25″ tall. Her face is rubber. Her body is stuffed and covered with a red and white polka dot pattern. She also wears a white apron. She has a thatch of orange hair only on top,and the rest is white fur.

Brenda was nice enough to email me with this information about these types of GUND animals:
Gund made these vinyl faced characters mostly in the 1960s to compete with another company doing the same thing – Rushton.
I will email the information to Donna, but wanted it available here if anyone else is interested in these adorable animal dolls. I can certainly tell that they were imitating the Rushton style, based on the faces on Rushton Santa dolls I have seen from the 60’s.
