The eBay one was still more than we could afford, but I emailed the seller with the link from your website. She replied back, saying that she had two of the blankets and would gladly give one to us! Thanks for your help. I’ll probably be sending in more requests for my husband’s missing childhood loveys for our son. Keep up the good work.

My 6-month old son selected a blanket from a consignment shop and decided that it is his “banky”–he grabbed it from the table and barely lets go of it.

The blanket I’m looking for is a Carter’s thermal blanket. It is white with bright green and light green stripes. I spoke to a mom at my church who happens to have the same blanket, and she said it came from Carter’s layettes 6 years ago.

I’d love to find a duplicate for when it needs washing. I found one in an eBay store, but they’re asking $20, and since I can barely make my rent while my husband is looking for a job, that just isn’t feasible.

If anyone has this blanket in a drawer, or knows where I could find one cheaply, my son would be so grateful.
