Mortimer Monkey Fancy Flop.
It is Mary Meyer item# 47401 and was produced for Christmas in 2003. We don’t have any left in stock.

, DISCONTINUED – MARY MEYER Mortimer Monkey Fancy Flop ORANGE MONKEYPlease help me find a back-up “Charlie” monkey for my baby sister……..I am searching for a 2003 Mary Meyer Orange colored monkey with a polka dot bow. He is a floppy beanie and measures 16-17 inches long. The white spots in the pic is from where his fur has been loved off.

Our monkey, named “Charlie” needs a good bath after 2 1/2 years of loving, and we are afraid he will get destroyed in the wash!

I’ve been searching for one like it for over a year. Shada lost “Charlie” about 3 weeks ago, and she did NOT sleep while he was “missing”. Thankfully we found him in a closet next to her bed after many days of searching. We didn’t even know she could open the closet….It was a lesson learned the hard way 🙂

    Is she sure that Charlie’s fur is originally orange, or is it because of washing? His bow does not look original and that claw on left foot is odd. I have the same one as eBay’s and fur has random long and short pile (which she refers to white spots).

  3. Hi, He has never been washed. He was bright orange when he was new, short fur, not long or shaggy. Thank you for your help! -Tonya

  4. Oh, and I forgot…he does not have a Flip Flops tag, only the Mary Meyer tush tag. Measures 16-17 inches not including his tail. Thanks again! This is such a great board! -Tonya
