I wanted to let you know that I received the cat yesterday. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I am so grateful to you and to all the caring people who go to the trouble of finding these lovies! I will continue to search through your site to see if I have anything that another child is needing–it’s the least I can do to pay back the kindness.

My five year-old has developed an attachment to a small gray and white plush cat made by Luv n’ Care. I bought it at a Target store a few years ago for about a dollar. The cat is about four inches long, with white legs, face and underbelly and gray head, body and tail, with a white tip on its tail. It has black thread freckles and eyes, and a pink thread nose.

My daughter has autism, and it has taken this long for her to form an attachment to any stuffed animal, and now she won’t sleep without it. She has started to want to take it everywhere with her. Our fear is that it will become too dirty (she becomes upset when it becomes dirty or wet and needs it cleaned/dried right away) or lost, so we want to find a back-up or two for that “just-in-case”.

I noticed that another mom had posted something about this very sort of cat, but I didn’t see any replies, so I don’t know if anyone knows where we can get a couple more of these.
