2008 R2 DESIGNS Lying Down CHENILLE DUCK / PLATYPUS

Trevor’s email address is no longer valid. Plus, he was not successful in getting his son to accept a different duck. Thank you to all of you who tried to help.

I am looking for the 2008 stuffed duck from Walmart. I bought one for my son last year on a whim, and it turned out to be the one huge comfort toy for him, as he never goes anywhere without it. This is a tremendous deal since we found out that he is blind.

A year later, and that duck is in rough shape. We were hoping to find another one this year, but it seems they aren’t selling them again.

The tag says it was made by r2 designs international. Color doesn’t really matter, as I said he is blind, but no other toy has been able to substitute! This particular duck has a sweater knit fabric on the beak and feet.

Any help would be great. Thanks,

We found a pink one that was showing play wear, but sent it on as a backup, until someone can find a good one. I believe the duck is about 16 inches long, the bow is not tied around the neck but rather sewn on to the back of the neck only. It is yellow with pink spots, couldn’t tell you the material, I don’t know anything about materials. The feet are the same orange material as the beak in the picture, the toes are created simply by a single strand of white string as you can somewhat see in the picture as well. It isn’t much for high quality, it was an inexpensive toy at Wal-Mart, but my son just loves it to death.
