Making each of our girls an Easter “basket” was so much fun. Our children did not get a real basket. Instead, we would fill some container, like a dump truck, or doll bed, with grass and eggs, with jelly beans sprinkled around, and a candy bar or two tucked in. One year we found two heavy cardboard barns at Hickory Farms. They were perfect!
But our daughters best Easter presents were a stuffed duck and a plush baby chick. Those shaggy, furry Easter presents turned out to be toys that they kept into adulthood.
Did YOU ever get a particularly memorable present for Easter?
