It’s Football Season again, folks, in case you hadn’t noticed. And team spirit abounds!!! Whether it’s PeeWee, local High School, state Colleges, or a Pro team – most people show team loyalty to some kind of sport. And nowadays it’s not just for American football, but also soccer, rugby, lacross, and a host of other team sports.

Showing Team Loyalty

Fans seem to find an infinite number of ways to show their loyalty to their team. They fly team pennants from car windows. And they paint their bodies in team colors and deck out in costumes at the games.

We’re seeing lots of team mascot stuffed animals lined up in the back window of automobiles. And I would imagine quite a few beds have their share of cheerleader bears on display.

We put some temporary hair paint in their school’s color in our granddaughter’s Christmas stockings one year, and they loved it. Some folks put a banner on the flag pole on the front porch, or they add team decals to their car windows. Others wear school colors on ties or wear team jerseys. You name it and someone has found a way to show their school and team loyalty.
