Since we had to change the address of our Search Service recently I have been working hard to change all my links to the correct one, plus change the links on all the places that have linked to us. That is quite a task, considering how long this blog has been in existence. But I’m getting there, slowly but surely.
Yesterday I decided to follow all the Toy/Children Related links I have on the sidebar here, to let them know about the new address and just say Hi! And I was saddened to find that some very good blogs are no longer active.
One such blog belongs to a very fine children’s poet named Billy Jones. I emailed him to let him know how sorry I was to see that he had quit his blog of adorable children’s poetry, and he emailed me back today to let me know about his newest children’s book, Reindeer Tales. Knowing the quality of his online poetry, I wanted you to know about his latest work, and this is what he sent me about the book:
Reindeer Tales is two Christmas Stories combined into one book.
The first story is The Reindeer Shoe– the story of a little boy who finds a magic reindeer shoe lost by one of Santa’s Reindeer that can give whoever holds the shoe anything they want, with the catch being that bad things happen to anyone who tries to steal the shoe away from the little boy, and without all their shoes … Santa’s reindeer can’t fly. The second story is The Great Reindeer Get-a-Way in which 2 of Santa’s reindeer break out of their stable just days before Christmas hoping to find Chicago and pizza, as they are bored with eating hay. But they become hopelessly lost and fly all over the world while Santa searches the world for them. Santa worries he will have to cancel Christmas if they aren’t found in time.
Reindeer Tales is available at Amazon and most other online booksellers and can be special ordered from any bookstore.
Thanks -Billy Jones
If anyone orders the book I would love for you to leave a review of it here if you like.
