Part of what makes selling stuffed animals and soft dolls so much fun is being able to help people find a toy they had just about given up on.
We received this email from a reader today:
I’ve tried talking to everyone, but no one has any idea what I’m talking about! The toy I’m trying to find isn’t that old…the late eighties maybe? Anyway. If I remember right, it was a baby doll that had a furry body and head. The face was the only non-plush part, and it had animal ears that you could tuck in and pull out. I think that was the focus of the toy. Mine was a minty green cat or dog-like thing. I had an orange one too, I think. I don’t remember if the faces were flesh colored or just a lighter version of the fur(I think it’s the latter). My parents guess it was mail ordered. Any help would be greatly appreciated; it’s been driving me crazy not knowing the name.
Yippee!! We’ve sold one of these before, so I recognized her description immediately! She’s been trying to remember the name for the Mattel Magic Nursery Doll.POST CODE #8724
