Laurie is still looking for this clown, as the one that was found was in bad shape, regrettably, as well as another vintage clown.
We are desperately trying to find a KinderGUND 12 or 16 inch plush clown (they made 2 sizes and either is fine, but we would prefer the larger if possible). We are looking for the one where the clown’s body is wearing a thin cotton outfit that is solid blue on the left side and solid yellow on the right side and has a draw string in the back on his neck. The name Tickles is printed in red on the outfit. The one we are looking for has red velour feet. It does have a rattle inside! The entire body of the one I want is velour (except for the hair). It was purchased in 1988.
We bought this clown for our son 20 years ago when he was born. He has always loved this very much and still does! As you can imagine, it’s extremely worn and basically falling apart. It would be the greatest gift in the world if we could find this same clown for our son, who still treasures this.
Can you please help us find it? We would be so grateful for your help.
