Hello! My son has a blanket that he’s attached himself to – it goes almost everywhere with him. He sucks his thumb, but needs his blanket at the same time. It’s from a really long time ago – this particular blanket was given to me by my mom, and I believe she got it around 1997, so between 10 and 15 years ago. It’s a white hospital receiving blanket, and is very soft – probably cotton or cotton flannel. It has a print – grey koala bears in pastel igloos of some sort and “abc” blocks in blue, red, yellow – all over the blanket. It’s approximately 30” x 30” with slightly rounded edges.

The blanket has been dragged around with him for over a year – possibly more, and has literally fallen apart into pieces. It’s threadbare! I’ve tried sewing the pieces onto another receiving blanket, but that’s not really doing the trick. I would absolutely love to get him a better version of his favorite blanket!

I love this website, and have looked at it a number of times to see if I had something to help another child and family.
