Thanks to one of our Fabulous Finders, we no know this is a RUSS Mulligan monkey and the girl version’s name is Joy.
I need to find a soft toy monkey. He is chocolate brown with light brown feet and paws and is 6.5 inches high when laid out (but not stretched out). Mickey (as we call the monkey) was bought in 1998 in a small gift shop in Scotland. I think he was made by Russ (the tag has long since faded and become detached).
He is a dear friend of my son Charlie who is almost 2. They are almost inseparable, but we have had a few ‘near misses’ in terms of almost losing it. The funny thing is that this is a soft toy that I bought for my wife 12 years ago, not long after we started dating, and as such it already meant a lot to us – but now doubly so!
I would be prepared to pay a reasonable amount of money to secure a duplicate – which wouldn’t have to be in perfect condition!.
Any help you can provide would be very gratefully received!
