It’s official, our “Lost but now Found” critter (plus travel companion) arrived a day early. A Christmas Miracle! =D Absolutely Perfect and in Brand New Mint Condition, which means previously un-loved, but not to worry, we will soon fix that. =)
I don’t know how in the world Jeanne at “Bearytale Friends and Forest” was able to do it, but we COULDN’T possibly be more thrilled!
We’ve decided that our newest edition must be a girl, since our old George is thinner like my husband and the new companion is bunchy and extra fluffy like me. 😉
May you all have a VERY Merry Christmas and a Joyous New Year!
~Brandie
I’m looking for a Soft Dreams No. 55610 reindeer or moose that was purchased as a Limited Edition Sears Christmas promotion sometime between the years of 1993 to 1996 in the Tampa Florida area. I’ve only been able to locate items offered as far back as 1999. I have been unable to find a “Soft Dreams” company that isn’t related to software, web design and the like, and have had no luck locating a New York, New York company by that name.He measures:
14 inches tall (not counting the antlers) or 16 inches tall including the antlers
8 ½ inches wide
9 inches thick/front-to-back (not including the tail) or 11 inches thick/front-to-back including the tailI’ve never seen another one, ANYWHERE. Our little family and friends find him extremely soothing, stress relieving and comforting. I mean, who could be grumpy looking at that? We think of him as a sort of portable meditation device. The go-to drug-free household sleep-aid. If anything ever happened we’d be crushed and can’t imagine being without him.
Should anyone be able to point me in the right direction, I’d love to give “George” some company. (*We named him “George” as in the Looney-Toons “I shall love him, and squeeze him, and call him George” line.)
Thank you so much for your assistance. I’ve tried looking on my own for years, so I think it’s time for reinforcements! =)
Thanks,
Brandie
