We have found my Daughter’s Pachi, after 2 years of searching. I can now sleep, with the knowledge that I will never have to face a traumatized little girl over the loss of her favorite animal. Thanks so much for your site!

I’m looking for a pink elephant made for Carter’s that was a part of a gift basket. The elephant had a recording device in the paw to record voice or sound for baby. It’s approximately 12 inches tall.

This is our adopted daughter’s “love” animal. She latched on to it the first month she was here and never looked back. And no animal was ever his equal.

The animal is love weary, and we fear with each cleaning it will finally fall apart, and the inevitable emotional separation anxiety that will ensue will not be pretty.

Our desire is to locate another one and have it ready when the inevitable demise of poor Pachi the elephant occurs, so we can bridge those tender years until a little bit of reason starts to seep in. Then we can put him in a nice shadow box, and that chapter of innocence will be over.

I have searched the web exhaustively for almost 2 years now, as we saw what was coming down the pike. I did get in contact with the manufacturer, Prestige Toys, to see if they kept any, and unfortunately they change the designs for Carter every year. (I also have asked if the pattern is available and haven’t heard back yet.) I have never seen him for sale on ebay, craigslist, amazon, your site, or any other related site.
