Thanks to one of our Fabulous Finders, we now know that this is a My Favorite Blanky named Bernie the Bear.

I’m looking for a 26 inch by 20 inch brown bear blankie, with the head at one end, the feet at the other end, and a little tail behind ( on other side of blanket). It’s a goldish brown curly chenille, and it has silky edges. It came from Scholastic book sales, ( I contacted them and no luck) and was bought in late 2006 or early 2007. I know that this IS NOT by MY BANKY. I bought a MY BANKY brand Blankie of ebay, because they look so much alike. They don’t feel alike though. He still only cares for his “old soft teddybear”.

My son is 2 and has had this teddy bear lovey since he was born that he can’t part with. He carries it everywhere ( but we are getting him to leave it at home, so it doesnt get lost!!) He sleeps with it everynight.

I would love to find another one exactly like it, just in case. I had a blanket I slept with everynight till I was 20 ( I was too old, I know) and by then there was only a couple of very small pieces left. If he wants to carry teddy bear Blanket till he is 20 I at least want him to have something to carry more than a piece.

I haven’t found one on eBay yet, but I’m always looking. If anyone has one of these or knows where I could buy one. PLEASE HELP. My little boy and I would sure appreciate it.
