I am looking for a bunny rabbit. I do not know the brand of the bunny. All I know is she is 12 inches tall with soft fabric on her belly and arms and inside of her ears. The designs on the fabric are bears that are sitting down and are in pink, blue and green. The feet and hands are balls of fuzzy material. She has a rattle in her head that is a light and chimey sort of sound. Her head, backs of ears and tail are also made of this material. She has plastic eyes (black) and nose (peach or pastel yellow). She was bought from Sears in California at the Sun Valley Mall in March of 1995.
Three months before I was born my mom had bought this bunny for me and it has been in every photo I have been in since birth up until the age eleven. When I was old enough to talk I had named the bunny ‘Baby’. I have unfortunately gotten rid of the tag that was on her back when I was about 5, so I don’t know the brand. When I was younger I had ripped out all the fabric around Baby’s eyes so she doesn’t look as new.
Whenever I am sick I still carry her around with me, because she makes me feel so much better. I don’t take her much anywhere unless it’s somewhere far away because she is quite fragile. Her fabric is getting awfully thin on her stomach and I’m afraid she will rip soon, and she has already had several stuffing transplants and stitches put in. She has been with me through thick and thin and she means the UNIVERSE to me. Over the eighteen years of my life she has been there through every moment.
I don’t want to replace her, but I do want another Baby for when I have kids of my own. I have another bunny like her, but it just isn’t the same Baby I have known and loved all these years. I want another one for the sake of having another one to hold on to when I can no longer hold Baby as well. I will go to the lengths of the earth to find another one. I have been searching for several years, but have had no luck. I hope someone here has seen her and will help me find another one.
