I no longer have a valid email address for Ted, so I’ve changed this post to Discontinued.
I need a Carter’s “Just One Year” plush bunny, pink with purple flowers. It’s all plush (no corduroy or chenille). The “inside of the ears” and bottom of the feet are lavender, and it has 7 daisy-like flowers embroidered on the tummy. The flowers are lavender with deep pink centers. It has a lavender bow at the neck. It has some type of pull on the tail.I am looking for this particular Bunny–which I believe plays “You Are My Sunshine”, but I am not 100% certain–for our first-born daughter. She absolutely adored “Pink Bummy”, and it helped her sleep at night.
Though our daughter is only 2 1/2 years old now, Pink Bummy was rarely apart from her and grew ragged and tattered, exposing the stuffing, etc., but to the point that it could not be repaired with swatches or patches anymore. She has been without the plush for about six months now, and has run through a gambit of surrogates–though she is not as fond of other animals or reasonable facsimiles of the Carter’s Bunny.
To this date whenever we see a rabbit in the yard, at the park, or illustrated in a book, she’ll sadly ask us “Pink Bummy? Where is Pink Bummy?” and appear saddened for awhile. Our usually jubilant, curious and energetic toddler becomes suddenly deflated. She doesn’t show such sadness or attachment for any other of her toys or belongings, we have realized, and it would mean as much to us as we know it will to her to be with her most cherished of possessions in her young life. As such, these moments and memories don’t last forever, and we’d like nothing more than for her to continue enjoying the comfort of her prized possession…Pink Bummy.
Any help you can provide is most appreciated and welcome. Thank you so much for your service and time!
Sincerely,
Ted
