Searching – 2001 Lullaby Club BLUE BABY BLANKET with CROCHET TRIM
I’m searching for a BLUE Lullaby Club blanket. It is about 32 inches by 40 inches with a crochet trim. The tag states: 100% acrylic, RN 17730, c 2001. It was in Target stores in 2001 and 2002.
My toddler daughter inherited this blue blanket from her older brother.. In spite of some pink blankets from which she had to choose, this is the one she has grown to love…a little too much. The soft, fuzziness of the chenille has worn down to strings in some areas, and it developed a snag which she worked into a now large hole.
After a long, tiresome day of travel, I laid her down very late to sleep and told her I’d be back with “blue blankie.” I was sure she’d fall asleep without it while I secretly washed it. My husband checked on her hours later at midnight. Still awake and waiting, she whimpered to him “blue blankie.”
Thus, I am looking for a replacement, so we don’t have to find out what would happen without it!

Yes, I saw the pink one on ebay, I showed that to my daughter and asked if she'd want pink, she says "no thank you"…we even call it "*blue* blankie." Unfortunately it *has* to be blue. I did make an offer on the pink one just to try. But since I didn't want to invest much in a blanket that probably would get rejected, I made a lower offer but the seller didn't go for it.

you might consider adding purple dye or blue dye to make a pink one into a blue one.
did you ever find one? this is so strange, it’s the exact same security blanket my now 2 year old can’t live without, it was my 9 year old’s blanket. ours is in terrible shape but is still his security blanket.
