Searching – 80’s PUPPY LOVE WHITE DOG with BLACK & RED EARS Wearing RED SWEATER
I have a friend who is looking for a vintage stuffed dog with Puppy Love on its red sweater. I think this one is from the mid to late 1980’s. She doesn’t know the brand, either.
I would love to be able purchase one of these dogs for my friend. It has special meaning to her, and the one she had originally was lost in an unfortunate accident.

my understanding from a past listing for the puppy love dogs. They were recalled due to lead in their lettering of the shirt. Possibly knickerbocker. Good Luck

I remember that about the 70's version, but not sure if it's true for this version or not. Hopefully not.
Thanks! This one appears to be somewhat different from the the version that was recalled. although my friend thinks that she may have had this one since the late 70's or early 80's.
