Searching - 70's DAKIN GREEN TURTLE

I’m looking for a mid 70’s DAKIN turtle plushy about 9 inches long. She’s not shell filled, but she does have a little sister that looks the same and is shell filled.

My wife had this doll as a child. I have searched for 5 years looking and ran across her on eBay. After I surprised her with it, it became her treasure once again. Tammy the turtle became a beloved family heirloom in just 3 weeks.

Then last Friday our 2 year old smuggled her to a high school football game we think, and she was lost there. As strange as it may sound, my wife is having anxiety over the loss of this turtle.

I have broadened my search and found your web site. Can you please help?

I have a dakin turtle like the one in the picture but I think it is a larger version. The turtle I have measures approx 13 inches long including the head-the body of the turtle is approx 9-10 inches long. I can list it on Ebay if you are interested.

I know I still have a couple of these turtles, but I’m in the process of packing to move and am not sure if I already packed it or not (I have about 25,000 to 30,000 toys moving). If I find it before the movers come next week I’ll get it pulled for you. If not I can locate it once I unpack at my new location.
