I am looking for a stuffed toy dog from my childhood. It is white with orange, yellow and blue spots. It has floppy ears that can cover its eyes, and a “peanut-shaped” head. It lays on its stomach, with its legs sticking out, two on each side. It would be from the early 1980’s, or 1970’s or possibly earlier. It is no more than 6″ long. It used to have a brownish nose (fell off) and white plastic/metal anchors at the bottom of its floppy ears (also fell out). I think it had white “fur” beneath its chin, and under its stomach. It was a mix of fleecy like material (spots were on this) (?) and fabric (on belly and under chin) (?). It’s hard to describe. I’m not sure if it had eyes at one point in its life, but it did not when I inherited it.

This toy was given to my mother 28 years ago by an acquaintance, who said it once belonged to his son. I have no idea how old the toy was when I received it, but it’s at least 28 years old. It has been my most treasured possession, and I have always been curious of its origins. I guess I’m just looking for any information related to it.
